There are never guarantees in life or death, as Bong-pal and Hyun-ji begin to learn. What is important is honesty, and as cute as they are together, there are still many secrets between them. But perhaps some secrets are best kept to worry in this way, especially when a long hidden evil creeps ever closer and there are more important and deadly things.
EPISODE 10 RECAP
When Hyun-ji tries to go away, afraid that their relationship can never really Bong- pal follows her and stops her. "I like you. I do not care what others think, you're the one I like," he says. And there in front of everyone, he kisses her.
in his clinic, Hye-sung searches Monk Myung-Chul looked at him to see, and to ask the monk steps inside, he knows Bong-mate. He smiles when Hye-sung confirmed it and said that he is like a father Bong-mate, and he notes that Hye-sung looks familiar. Hye-sung admits to have flat Myung-Chul seen in Bong-pal, but Myung-Chul says that it was a long time ago.

On the school grounds, a student goes the halls and find some lights burned out. Using a cell phone as a flashlight, he finds the box of things he was looking for but he hears someone behind the boxes muttering. He jumps and runs when the Mutterer turns and grins him with a bloody mouth.
He goes straight to Chun-sang and In-rang to tell the spirit he saw. They offer in their hilariously overblown way to help him as long as he paid course.
show Bong-pal and Hyun-ji, where he discovers the spirit that has clearly shown itself everywhere on campus and is known to be particularly gruesome. Neither Bong-pal still see Hyun-ji something, Bong-pal steps on something and screeching noise they must examine all run.
on a different floor of the mind, some students showed, but strangely, Chun-sang and In-rang clearly see and leave the room. Bong-pal and Hyun-ji are not afraid, especially because it turns a fellow student Chun-sang and In-rang in the hallway encounter.
He has been living for a while on campus, unable to find a job. It was for sale on a pyramid scheme "healing stones" reduced, and the whole thing has made him a little cuckoo. HAHA, Chun-sang liked it, he accepted a stone mattress for their payment.
Detectives Yang and Kim go to inspect the body of Min-soo, the student, Hyun-joo know Hye- sung recently killed. Due to a wrong confession, it looks as if he Hyun-joo killed, then himself, but thinks Detective Yang the whole thing seems to be lazy. He decides to go Hye-sung mother see to check his alibi for the night of Hyun-joo murder.
The possessed man, Hyun-min is awake and crying again. His sister called Bong-mate, scared because she's home alone with him, and the sounds he makes almost tortured. She goes to his room to find it destroyed, but Hyun-Min sits perfectly still on the bed, with blood running down his face.
He presses on the ground and rises menacingly over her, but he distracted by a noise and leaves the room. His sister also heard the noise, and looked over his shoulder the spirit of Hyun-Min to see friend she flowed with blood from her eyes down.
Chun-sang catches In-rang a love note to Hyun-ji, and in the scuffle for the possession of the note Chun-sang in the eye gets slammed to write. He pretends to go blind and smacking home rang a few times, until In-rang pretends to meet him again and him wince. Busted.
Hye-sung canceled class, Seo-yeon to ask him texts, whether he is okay. Hyun-ji sees it as an opportunity to play, but a call from them Chun-sang instead Hyun-Min has headed home.
Detectives Yang and Kim find Hye-sung mother who seems nervous and edgy. If they ask if her son has visited lately, it is very vague, and it freezes when she sees something out the window.
There is Hye-sung, standing right on the farm, and the Bulls cut their visit short, refuses Hye-sung to say why they are here. As they leave, he sees his mother an angry look, and it really seems to be afraid of him.
arrive At the time, Bong-pal and the club to Hyun-Min House, he's gone. His sister tells them that she saw his dead friend, Soo-Kyung, and she is afraid that she try to hurt her brother.

He staggers out onto the bridge, and the ghost hunting crew hurry to catch him before he does something drastic. You can see it, but the car breaks down, so Bong-mate jumps out and takes the rest of the way.
Hyun-ji poofs closer and drags Soo-Kyung specter of Hyun-min away, hanging on the outside of the railing to let go. Hyun-Ji asks why Soo-Kyung tries to kill Hyun-Min, but she says desperate that they tried not to kill him - they tried to save him.
Still in a trance, Hyun-min says quietly: "Soo-Kyung-ah, I will follow you," and lets go of the railing. Soo-Kyung screams as he hits the water, and Bong-pal ripping off his jacket and jumps into the man to save.
Riverbanks Soo-Kyung seems Hyun-Min and kneels to speak with him. She now looks almost human, and she calms his cut forehead and asks him, "Hyun-Min sshi, do not." He looks up at her, stricken.
In flashback we see that he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and were three months to live. He gets drunk and stagger through the streets, where Soo-Kyung sees him and pushes him out of the way. She asks angrily if he had given up on life, and he says he has.
Soo-Kyung does not allow him to wallow in his depression to him fuss every day to enjoy it has, and Hyun-Min is immediately excited. He finds them in the convenience store where she works, and buys her some coffee when she falls asleep on the counter. The two start dating and fall in love quickly.
Hyun-Min tells Soo-Kyung that he is going for a few days away, but the truth is that he is going to his brain tumor in an operation. He asks the doctor to save his life, now that he has something to live.
He calls Soo-Kyung and leaves her a message, apologized and explained that he would not be able to return to her. When she hears his message it is running on the road, too scared to notice the car on their barrels down. While Hyun-Min life of its operation, Soo-Kyung is across the street from a head wound is stored bleeding.
He tried to call them, and an EMT picks up the phone, as they are Soo-Kyung loaded into an ambulance. He has given the news that she died, and he screams in pain.
Now he excuses her mind, to feel responsible for her death. Soo-Kyung tells him it's not his fault, and asks him not to kill, but he screams that he only had the operation so that he could be with her. He wants to follow her wherever she is.
But Soo-Kyung says they'll be even sadder when he dies, to be together with her. She was so happy to be with him, and she wants to take these happy memories with her. She asks him, he would never promise violated, and he nods, not to refuse able her last wish. Hyun-Min whispers that he loves her, and Soo-Kyung sobs that she also loves him, then in a cloud of light drifts away.
The lads are Bong-mate and Hyun-ji home, but before he goes inside In-rang, asking him along his love note to Hyun ji happen. Knowing that In-rang like Hyun-ji, bong-buddy tells him haltingly that Hyun-ji like someone already. Jaw drop (and Hyun-ji, heh) and In-rang is devastated. Awww, Chun-sang gives him great smooshy hugs.
Bong-mate is quiet on the roof, and he asks Hyun-ji, if one day, they will feel like Soo-Kyung and Hyun-Min quit. Hyun-ji thinks it wants, but it's no big deal because they are happy now. She says that she should not worry about the future worry, reminds Bong-mate that he said that to her, and he smiles.
Chun-sang of moping some Soju In-rang pours (from the Han River, of course), and say can not resist. "I told you so" Germany struggled agrees that he never Hyun-ji should have begun to like, and he screams at the letter he wrote. He rips it up and throws it in the river, dramatically screaming: "I have loved you, Kim Hyun-ji !!" He even tried to jump into the river, and Chun-sang has to beat him, to calm him down. Awww, poor heartbroken puppy.
Myung-Chul goes to his shaman friend and told her about Hye-sung, and his whole body trembled as he shook his hand. She agrees, he's not normal, but she refuses Myung-Chul help, not after seeing how he has been damaged the last time. But she does not agree to find him the ritual tool which he used when Bong-pal was young. In the meantime, he asks for a talisman for Bong-pal.
Hye-Sung watched his mother in her garden, and goes to tell her that he headed back to Seoul. He shows genuine concern when he saw a scratch on her hand, although she shrugs off and says it's nothing. Your rejection does seem to hurt his feelings, and he leaves looking upset.
A neighbor comes over to sigh, how beautiful her son, but Hye-sung mother looks despondent as she says: "He is not my son." She remembers a time years ago when her face was bruised and bloody, and her husband had been lying by a fall in the grass far below her apartment dead. She had a young Hye-sung standing by the open door, black fog swirling around him and saw the same flat look in his eyes.
Bong-pal finds Hyun-ji for their next test to study, and even sets of food so that they can finish their studies. Bong-pal spills their photos from the team leave and Hyun-ji tried to hide it, but he says he has already seen. He takes them and looks at them again, the improvements Hyun-ji comments made. ~ shudder ~
He teases Hyun-ji mercilessly, and pouts her that she had to pull in a picture with him, because they do not take real. Bong-pal, he does not like pictures anyway take, and take Hyun-ji face in his hands and said he draws them to see in person. You going to pass out, unless he calls them ugly, and they end in a shock-struggle. So nice.
Myung-Chul listen Bong-mate of laughing outside his home, and said that he did not hear the laughter in a long time. He steps inside and witness the last part of the bong-pal and Hyun-Ji tease, although it it looks like Bong-pal tells himself. He suspects that Bong-pal the girl spirit he speaks a while back, hit, and all references to the site click ... they have lived together.
Myung-Chul is angry that Bong-mate is in a relationship with a ghost when a ghost killed his own mother. He provides Bong-pal eyes now to get fixed, say he'll find a way, so that he can finish his an exorcist. But Bong-buddy says he can take care of himself, that he no longer wants to treat his eyes.
Myung-Chul spitting mad that Bong-pal how this spirit really need, and Bong-pal looking over the Hyun-ji looking worried and a little scared. He takes her hand and says that he does, and tells Myung-Chul mind his own business. Myung-Chul says fine, he will not interfere in his life, and he goes.
Once he's gone, Hyun-Ji asks if a spirit has really kill Bong-pal mother and if it to raise money to its ghost rid seeing ability. Bong-mate told her everything Myung-Chul told to ignore, but the only confirmed her fears, and she tells him, without having to go to school today.
Myung-Chul all the way down the street cursing until he comes a bakery, and the cake remind him that today Bong-pal birthday. He brings a cake back to Bong-pal place and settles in. He can feel Hyun-ji presence if he gets near her, and says that he knows that she's here. He asks her to leave for his sake alone Bong-pal.
He tells her that when Bong-pal was small, an evil spirit in him went, and it was all guilt Myung-Chul, that he was not strong enough to exorcise him. We see young Bong-mate in a temple for respiratory fights with his parents hovering over it, and Myung-Chul had ceremonies over the child performed to chase the spirit.
had at the peak of the ceremony, a pearl bracelet on Bong-pal broken wrist, and the black fog had whirled and by Myung-Chul. He had completely failed to free them, and in his rage had killed Bong-pal mother.
A part of the mind in Bong-pal had stayed eyes, and let him to see ghosts able. Myung-Chul asks Hyun-ji, if they are really a man thinks, can love a ghost, and asks her to leave him again. Hyun-ji hear every word he says, tears running down her face.
Meanwhile, Bong-mate is halfway to school before he turns around and goes back home. He goes in and finds Myung-Chul the cake, but Hyun-ji is nowhere to be seen. He finds them on the roof to cry, although she claims that everything is in order.
Bong-buddy asks if she looked back, Myung-Chul Hyun-ji and chirps that she did, but she evaded him. Sulking they him to say to her, it is not his birthday, and he says he does not remember not usually because it has to meet him somewhere to celebrate.
, take a riverboat trip, and Bong-pal says sweet that it is not on a his first time, but he is happy here with you to be. Go to watch the fireworks in the upper level, and Hyun-ji grows sad when she tells Bong-mate that she wants him to be happy. He says he is lucky enough and he even enjoy his birthday for the first time, because he can be with her.
She apologizes that she can not really do anything for him, and he says it's all right. He leads her forward, and kisses her on the forehead, and she begs him to get a drink. While he is away, she calls, and so, as she sees him for coming, it slowly disappears.
Bong-pal is looking over the ship for Hyun-ji, but he can not everywhere. She looks at him from the shore as he grows increasingly frantic, and she just says she's sad before she returns to her school uniform, and goes back where it came from.
COMMENTS
Oof, I knew it was coming, and I knew it would Hyun-ji be, the left-bong pal. That made it no easier to watch, especially knowing how hard it was for Bong-pal even primarily, to open it. For the first time in his life he let someone in, and he lost so quickly it. He is stripped to be without it, and the first time I'm not looking forward to our next episode. It will be difficult to observe.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again: What's with Hye-sung's going on ?? I swear this. One of the best mysterious characters that I've ever seen in a settled as a rom-com drama, and he gives me the heebies every time he is on my screen I love that we have some information about his past always, but it's like every tidbit we're given increases that many questions. It is obvious that he is a cold-blooded killer, but his disappointment when his mother pushed him away was almost childlike in its vulnerability - whatever happened to him when he was young, he does not seem too much past that emotional matured to have. And again remember not to hurt his acts like an angry child feel that is lashing out, who it hurts, whether it be human or animal. It's so big that we can not easily guess what's wrong with him when guessing so much fun.
I thought that Hyun-Min and Soo-Kyung love story was such a nice little vignette, and a nice reminder that you should love that you appreciate and enjoy while you have it. There is no guarantee that it will last, and it was such a bittersweet lesson that had all the time Hyun-Min dying afraid it was Soo-Kyung, who had only a little time left. She was to tell him to live life to the fullest while you can, and she did it every single moment. So while her death was a tragedy, and it is understandable that Hyun-Min would think that he has caused her accident, it would be even worse for Hyun-Min to try to follow in the death. The only thing she wanted for him was that he live and be happy, so much so that even after their own lives is over, it does not continue to move until they know that he will be fine without them everything ,
It fits in Bong-pal and Hyun-ji budding romance so beautiful - they can not be a conventional pair, but there is no telling how much time they together have, so if they have found love, they should cherish it while they can. But it makes sense that if they want to avoid pain and sorrow, now is the time to bring things to a halt before one of them has gone too far in love that their inevitable separation caused permanent damage. As a spirit, know Hyun-ji more than any other, that they could be gone at any moment, and their repeated fading incidents are frightening on several levels. So for as they know they could cause their time comes in this world to an end, and they would not Bong-pal want to hurt more than necessary when she goes. See Hyun-Min torn to pieces and made suicide over the loss of his love hard, and Hyun-ji is a gentle and loving girl ... they will not want to suffer Bong-mate by when they must leave.
I do not usually like the separation part of any drama (who does?), But in this case I think it is necessary for Bong-pal and Hyun-ji. Their relationship is way the normal left and as adorable as they are together, it is not realistic, for they are really together. You can never marry, have a family, or grow old together - hell, they can not even go on a date without people thinking Bong-pal lost his marbles. You really have no future together, as much as they both may wish, and Myung-Chul reaction drove that home difficult for Hyun-ji. So it makes sense for the rest of Hyun-ji to come to know what they now know about Bong-pal past and why he can even be seen in the first place. In her head she has left him said as Myung-Chul, for his own good, and for the first time there is no more noble idiot here. Just a girl who loves a boy who has a very good reason that they can not be together, and who loves him enough to let him go.
