COMMENTS
Ah, this show attracts just in my heart. This was a very emotional episode, and I'm amazed at how well the side of the supporting characters their moment gets to shine their way into the broader history and weave. Even the comic moments, such as Man-gu catastrophic makeover are grounded as his son want to be proud of him in such a real and heartbreaking situations. I am beginning to understand that there are no small characters on the show, because they all have a life and a depth to them that contribute to the feeling that this could be a real village and these are real people who live there could , Yes, the show is a comedy, primarily, but it is also very more , and I continue to look forward to the road, no small scene or happening is always there just laughing for. Absolutely everything that happens in Hadurok-ri, happens for a reason, and I love that.
One of the best things about the show that there are no throwaway lines or scenes, and the whole home ki / guitar background is perfect example. Back mentioned in one of the first episodes Min-ki, that he found his guitar when he was a child, then no more talk was taken away by that tiny moment in which In-ki, touched the guitar in the cabbage field. I am proud to surprise to be tough when it comes to storyline twists, but this really caught me off guard because the setup has happened so early in the history, and it was such a seemingly memorial comment. It is truly wonderful how in an industry where scripts sometimes literal last minute is written and a show dealing with a completely different end than originally thought that a silly weekend may prove comedy so very cleverly made that setup to be and payouts apart ten episodes happen. Even the smallest detail dovetail so perfectly into the bigger story, and I can not wait from the same kind of surprises.
Speaking of which, I am also impressed at how off-center, we are kept in relation to the romance angle in the story. It is usually taken for granted that in drama country we know the romantic Endgame from the beginning - but with Modern Farmer I really can not tell where most of this Love Lines take us. I feel still that the Ki-joon / Bul-yes pairing is pretty set, but other than that I'm really confused. With Han-Chul and Soo-yeon, although the hostility of Soo-yeon brightens, I do not feel really that Han Chul does not progress toward really get to know and to respect Soo-yeon for who she is beyond of being a pretty fantasy.
And Yoon-hee / Hyuk / Min-ki / Yoo-na would fall love space at first would so obviously appeared (Min-ki and Yoo-na together again, and Hyuk and Yoon-hee in I'm not so sure, dear), but now. Yoo-na seems to care for Min-ki, but they consistently their careers first, and now Min-ki and Yoon-hee are looking for a deeper friendship that I could believe, when it transforms into love. Meanwhile Hyuk (and to be unhealthy for the record, I do not in Yoon-hee feel his interest because it reminds him of his mother, because he really for himself seems to like) seems to be stalling out Yoon- hee, because its inability to convince her of his sincerity.
