Keeping beloved those in the dark will be difficult in this last chapter, because everyone will be in motion to procure and secure what matters to them. As Tae-woo, a search for a missing vampire starts, San need to make a difficult decision between friendship and love, all of which lead to a fight in the dark up is. And while anything like what sound interesting, you will probably feel more like Gyeo wool hunting with hardly leads to a story.
The final episode, "Night Again ..."
Cold open: on a dark night, tears and San crumples the school records on Tae-woo and Yoo-jin. He throws the pieces into the river, taking them away. Would not it be ... a shredder to be here more efficient?
He stuffs the picture of the three of them in the bag, however, as Yoo-jin goes to him. She wonders if anyone will remember, after they die, because they will disappear without a trace. San tells her: " I am go to remember", they embraced.
The San boards up the window for Yoo-jin, Tae-woo not care what his lackey thinks that they do now. He runs down Gu-Hyung meeting which is bloodstained, battered, and hanging from the ceiling.
Because there is no time to waste, he asks where is San, and at times Gu-Hyung of pointing out that he and San are "friends." still, Gu-hyung takes Tae-woo of inferiority complex when it comes to San, and wonders if he. yet with Yoo-jin
Gu-hyung earned a hard blow to the jaw obsessed for these words, and Tae-woo tells him that he will soon see San fall.
San speaks with Sun-young, when the sun rises. Although it is hard to believe that Yoo-jin is still alive, she understands that San can not provide a deeper explanation. It promises new ID for Yoo-jin to create, but sighs once they hang up.
Speaking of whom, Yoo-jin can look at the sun, which in peeping through her San connects. She is glad that everyone can hear, it's good, then indicated San can walk in the sunlight. San says he does not quite understand either (nor do we)
It reminds Yoo-jin, how much it is missing from their previous human experience. The feeling of warm sun on her skin, tasty food Eating, and with their friends meet.
Tae-woo may be lucky not believe when on Gu-hyung of a concerned text of Sun-young looks phone that San of exact lists location. Now we find out that Tae-woo said, with his minions as he ordered that San and Yoo-jin returned.
Yoo-jin grows weaker as the day goes by so San sets about his blood-filled inhaler at her side. She reaches for him when he made a step, and he promises her that he'll be back soon.
You think back to the moment when Tae-woo turns her into a vamp, then take the inhaler. It turned out that San equals wait around the corner, hoping to give them some privacy.
It is not long before a group of suits show and start to break the windows down. San attempts she struggles to as Yoo-jin crying inside, huddled in her blanket. He draws her and asks her to trust him, before they are executed in the daylight.
Sun-Young is laid long after the dust while Gyeo wool is unable, either Gu-Hyung or San reach. Just then, bursting Yo-na in the house with their husbands to know ask where the helper list.
to show a healthy serving of wine on the carpet pouring out that they have no time to lose, Yo-na tells everyone will die if they do not succeed. Gyeo wool is more interested in where her brother is, and flies into a rage when Yo-na it answers for that right no time now.
Gyeo- wool is confused when Yo-na tells her that San find is an urgent matter. She looks at the computer, and Yo-na follows her line of sight.
Elsewhere, San insured Yoo-jin, that she feels nice to have around. But Yoo-jin know it will not always be easy, even if they manage to leave the country. He repeated the same words that she spoke to him when they were in school-never give up.
After a long silence, he tells her to close her eyes. She does, and he paints her a word-picture of a beautiful day. He fixed the sun pendant around his neck and tells her not to lose it again. Aw.
Tae-woo is pleased to hear that his men Yoo-jin has found and Gu-Hyung unbound from his cell. Young-Kwang is still there, tied to a chair and barely conscious.
Yo-na is less to learn than thrilled that Gyeo wool, fake USB pursued. When they that Gyeo-wool hand about the real demands Gyeo wool asks that they come with them, adding that she does not want to lose more people who are close to her heart.
San and Yoo-jin take a walk by the seashore when Tae-woo men drive up. They flash Gu-Hyung face at him as bait and Tae-woo Lakai advises to follow them when they do not want to see Gu-Hyung dead.
he calls the van, the Gu-Hyung Geisel, order that it can be fatal if he hangs either them or whether this tells calls. Then he looks to San and instructs him to follow them.
Yo-na falls Gyeo wool from the police station and said that they need all the help they can get. They are in the same boat, Yo-na explains neither of them want to lose the people who are close to their hearts.
Thus Gyeo wool hands via USB with the warning that, if something goes wrong, they will kill yo-na itself.
Back to the sea-shell, Yoo-jin recalls that San Gu-hyung is important to him. You will now leave with Tae-woo men and they can make "there" later. So Yoo-jin are on and San watched as the car drives away.
Yoo-jin is chained when Tae-woo takes off her blindfold. He tells her: "I'll show you how to break the consequences of your promise."
Yo-na marched to Tae-woo men while Gyeo wool pulls Detective Park from his diet. Detective Park is trying to make a joke, saying that he has a good feeling today was evening but Gyeo wool is also concerned about San and Gu-Hyung.
Tae-woo is in chains to San tied up to a pier. He is amused when San can not recognize where Gu-Hyung and Yoo-jin are, and he's dead set on proving San wrong today. Tears San eyes as he pleads fill: "Tae-woo, I was wrong Do not Do This.."
This is a response Tae-woo did not expect, and he beats San, asking what he did wrong. He lit an area where two seated figures were hidden in the shadows. He will give San a gun with a bullet, and San is a shooting of two chairs, which is either Young-Kwang or Gu-Hyung
But there's more :. Tae-woo shows Yoo-jin attached to the other end, then instructs his lackey to the UV lights on. San starts panting as the lights off again, and Tae-woo describes how the tables have: "Now I'm the one to give orders and you're the one who listens"
This is a win-win situation for Tae-woo: If San Gu-hyung shoots, he would revel in debt feel San; when shooting Young-Kwang, Tae-woo is obtained entire gangster organization Young-Kwang.
Tae-woo steps back to watch the spectacle, and San throws the gun at him. not even flinch, go Tae-woo back towards San and to remind him that bullets are useless against them because they are both vampires.
San 10 seconds has to make a decision or Yoo-jin die, Tae-woo reminds him. It starts the countdown, and the happy memories spent with Gu-Hyung flash through San Spirit. 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ...
... and 1, San sees the number of its right side. Even Tae-woo is surprised that he would shoot, and his lackey pulls the sheet back to reveal Yo-na. They are the gunshot wound a little hurt before getting up and shooting Tae-woo over and over again.
When Tae-woo falls to his knees, Yo-na says he cares a better job should have made his right hand. In flashbacks we learn that Yo-na had all Tae-woo men taken down and showed the lackey real USB to tell him that he better covered with the right boss consistent.
when the lackey San handed over the weapon, he advised him to make the "right" decision as a hunting dog. This reminded San as Yo-na always as such called him, and we know the rest from there.
She unties Gu-Hyung of the other chair, running to free San. As for Tae-woo former lackey, he joins a few more shots ... but then Tae-woo used one of the other men as a human shield.
The footman staring at the gun in silent amazement as TAE woo tears herself away and chomps down on his neck. He grabs San and feed it into the wall, then San charges at him.
Finally Tae-woo grabs him in a stranglehold as San head forward brings. He figures San has its abundance of blood in a while is not consumed, but that's when San eyes glow yellow and he wrestles from Tae-woo stranglehold.
Each of them get a few punches in and flip each other in the air and on the ground. Yo-na heads down in the room where Young-Kwang is maintained and checked to see if he is still breathing.
Gu-Hyung still trying by Yoo-jin to break chains, while Tae-woo San with a chain reactors. He whips San back, throws it over and over again, and notes, as if the chain had a leash. He drags, and then breaks the chain.
Yo-na helping Young-Kwang outside and see the sun peeking through the buildings. Young-Kwang calls by its former name, Eun-hae. He turns to his younger self before their eyes, and by shallowed breaths, he tells her that he has so many people were killed over the years.
He admits that he was so scared and barely slept and then ate back. a life in which he had to act on his reality unaffected frightened him to continue to live together with the idea of his life that way. Finally, he hoped that he would die in her face looking at the situation.
Yo-na her hand extends gently touching his cheek, but she refuses to let things end this way. It promises to help him, and to be cut on the point in her palm again when Young-Kwang holding her.
"Everything has an end," Young-Kwang she says. "Let's go to the people and ask for forgiveness."
But Yo-na not shaking his head. "I do not want" As the sunlight approaches, Young-Kwang embraces her and says: ".. I'll protect you Do not be afraid"
inside, Yoo-jin stops Gu-Hyung from their chains to pull. She tells him to get help, while they will try to stop San and Tae-woo.
Not too far away, San revolves around Tae-woo and breaks an arm with his knee. Tae-woo is recovering in no time and soon repays the favor. Finally Tae-woo Pens San to the ground, and Yoo-jin cries, "Stop."
Detective Park and Gyeo wool finally to make buildings as Gu-hyung falls into the corridor. Back at the house, Yoo-jin has the remote at the UV light in the hand and tells San: "I'm sorry careful.."
She presses the button and the bright lights consume them. A single tear runs down her cheek as San screams. The screen fades to white, then Yoo-jin imagines in to be able to stand on a beach with San daytime.
When the camera cuts back to San He alone with the sun trailer sits.
Young-Kwang puts in the sun, as someone picks up the USB drive. We cut back when he and Gu-Hyung were in the same room as Gu-Hyung told him to stay awake repeatedly tied. Young-Kwang had kept talking to describe a group. Made for him
Gu-Hyung is too late, when he returned with Detective Park and Gyeo wool in tow in the room. The room is empty.
One year later. Gu-Hyung handing out flyers with San face on it to anyone to take a copy. Doctor Hwang and Se-ra also help and Detective Park is to say the trio that someone has a complaint against them back in again.
Apparently Gu-Hyung has hung around the same area, because a witness claimed, San have spotted. He asks if Detective Park Yo-na has tracked, only said that no one of that name (or for that matter Young-Kwang) available.
He plans into the opening of the private detective when San resurfaces. He slays Detective Park on the head for the assumption that they should work together, then gets a call from Gyeo wool.
She has heard that Gu-Hyung has stepped out of this big house, and he asks where she's been. She reminds him that they would return as soon as she finds San, prompting him to ask if she has tracked him
So she goes up to them and makes a request. "Do you want to go and bring San back together?"
She opens her arms for a hug ... and Gu-hyung it occurs in the shins. Ha. And so leads the team San to find out together.
COMMENTS
Like so many of his crimes procedural predecessor at OCN, Vampire Detective us leaves with an open end, which sets up for another possible season. But unlike the other shows, I'm uninterested left where our team goes, because if San has remained under the radar for a year, I can only assume that he somewhere over Yoo-jin (again) pouting, possibly suffer (or not because who really knows) from his vampiric state.
pair, drop the perspective with ratings from week to week, and the show was put on his teeth to the finish line. that the trajectory was observed to almost tragic because Vampire Detective offered such a promising debut. But among all the repetitive cliffhangers followed by often cold confusing opens to important discussions that were adopted between the characters, but the audience is not shown, to the abandoned plot points at the eleventh hour again, and worse-a virtually invisible vampire angle -it should not surprise you that disinterest and frustration would grow with each episode.
part of me believes that the one-episode-a-week format of the show worked disadvantage because would be weeks or months before we had no one really care about a character or an item in memory , Take, for example, Sun-Young, whose reappearance in the final was more of a hindrance than anything else. She could easily have tried to call Gu-Hyung and not accurate as text San position (especially if San could not reveal more details), but of course that information that makes it awfully convenient for Tae-woo his men to send down to exactly where San was. Not only that, it was just this episode in which Tae-woo lackey of resentment against his boss came into play that took the oomph out of his betrayal. (Of course I will find endless entertainment astonish the lackey, like a bullet not to stop a fucking vampire.)
These are just some of the many things took the show and had to worry about at will our characters. I was almost surprised that Gyeo wool was still in the dark about her brother, whose mysterious disappearance was the whole reason she joined the team. A year later, their focus is on another missing person to find without finding emotional closure for her own family.
All this is to say that I wish the show used expository when they actually counted, applied to our characters and the overall narrative. Instead, the show spent time to describe complicatedly the minutes (see: the pyramid scheme) and on the interactions of our trio skimming, in spite of everything, I still very much adore. I have to thank Oh Jung-se for my deep admiration of Gu-Hyung and his unwavering loyalty and Lee Joon for his sincerity in his actions when writing about San cared so little ,
, it suffices to say that San lingering affection and unshakeable understanding of Yoo-jin, a plot point was all I cared about little if at. Her character was no more than a girl in need of San place to go to place, so see her death a good finish to an otherwise uninteresting character meant. But if there's one thing that I do all this for the hope is that Gu-Hyung San not see because he is not gonna find someone better than him.
