How. Crazy. Adorable. Ho-gu Love (or Fool Love , for our main character named Ho-gu, a pun on "fool") premiered today on TVN and is already off to a lively start , I expected comic book style hilarity by the authors of Flower Boy Ramyun shop , and I was not disappointed-the show chock full of quippy lines, crazy situations, and a whole lot of underdogs root for ,
it's crazy comedy, but I think it's a relatable look at contemporary relationships will be (and all the confusing labels that we use these days on it). And Choi Woo-Shik is fantastic as the ultimate loser. It's just the first episode, the jury on the romance or history, but Ho-gu is still out love. He could only ever be the cutest sad sack.

First fool Errand of: let throw the trash in the trash can

The girl holds the thumb of the guy, and this touch alone brings the biggest grin on his face. This is our hero, KANG HO-GU ( Choi Woo-Shik ), whose name means "weakling" or "idiot."
The girl sweet calls him "oppa" and tells him drop "Mmm, six months?" his jaw: she on a business trip, and when he asks next week, how long they will be gone, she says, as if it's no big deal. Ho-gu, sighs and tells us that this is his little sister, KANG HO KYUNG ( Lee Soo Kyung ). And minutes later, sees the same girl quite different without her makeup, pick plop in a tracksuit up to her nose and teach her brother more lessons on dating.
go through the neighborhood and at a crosswalk, Ho -kyung tells him that dating is a lot like the streets to cross hundreds of times throughout your life. He emptied, convinced that they really do not remember him, and then decides, at least tell her where the rest of the classmates have gone for the second round. But Do-hee, she says not interested because they do not, they came to see.

Except that I do not think you can return only a pregnancy under the carpet. It's not just you deny such a breakup with a non-girlfriend a painful memory. I worry about the pregnancy aspect of the story, because even on a good day, I might fear that Do-hee is increasing with Ho-gu to their self-esteem or avert loneliness, or they are anything but as he had ever been in has been for all other non-relationship. So I already find myself worried about her leaning on him for the wrong reasons. I expected My Sassy Girl , but that certainly needs the conflict in deeper and turbid waters. The first episode was a well paced and grounded cheerful introduction to the world of a great protagonist. I have such a soft spot for this kind of hero he has zero confidence and zero clearance, but so much heart, and I'm rooting already for Ho-gu, to find out how big it is. Its sort of shyness feels so familiar because he is altogether so average. He is the quiet type, which can be nice to have something nasty to say too afraid to ruffle feathers anyone to say no, too self-conscious to ask a girl to define what they are. And his imagination outbreaks make it all the more pathetic, for things to say, but not the confidence to say. He feels like a real person, complete with embarrassing foot-in-mouth syndrome, idiot friends who give him terrible advice, and a tendency to over think things in the ground.
I like everything about him, even the cringey embarrassing things because Choi Woo-Shik Instant vulnerability second he's on screen. It is scientifically impossible not to feel empathy for him, as a kind of biological imperative baby animals to cuddle. I'm sure he was in a world of pain, but already he has the better head on his shoulders, when it comes to his philosophy on love and relationships, and we see some points of connection with Do-hee, who is not quite as inaccessible as he thought. I know that he is a weakling and needs a boost of confidence, but I hope that he does not entirely-it changes something to be said for a drama that proves that nice guys always finish last not.
