Last episode cliffhanger led us to believe that Kaya on the itching might finally kinda sorta act of revenge they would have had for most of this group to put all logical gaps aside, they made no plan at all retire her grandfather with the truth confront from gramps to kill them, to ask anyway. Could the whole thing have been a bluff? Could be. Have we no way of knowing? No.
I really made me excited at the prospect of her revenge scheme finally take root and become something real, but we did not even see the rest of the scene teased in the Cliffhanger , letdown so, 1 #. Then we found wasting Kaya in her room away as a prisoner, and while it could be argued that maybe everything Aoki made this episode, because some offscreen plan did, he was with Kaya, I really hope that is not the case. Considering how the majority of every episode since the big switch has the time been shown until pissing away, so the idea that so many Kaya-centric scenes allegedly happened from the perspective that we have more time, can Seol leader seen as Captain Obvious is enough to drive anyone to drink. And if that is the case for the writer, it would certainly be the shaky (lack of) logic explain the show runs.
Jae-hwa had a nice sendoff, although his sudden de-friending Jung-tae is still a little hazy in my memory.
