We are at the end of our epic Joseon tales, and I have to be honest, I went into this final with very high expectations and more than a little nervousness. Can a show remain true to the way that it has been in its entirety, by this many episodes, until the very end? continue to do Luckily Mirror Witch what is best right until his last moments doing that together for romance, danger, carefree humor and tears (many of them), without history, it set loose from the beginning to tell. The result? A satisfactory farewell to our beloved characters and a drama that I will remember fondly for his one of my favorites - at least so far - of the year.
The final episode RECAP
found on Cheongbing temple, Yeon-hee wakes June nodding beside her. He wakes up soon after and tells Yeon-hee that he feels like he is dreaming, and he never wants to wake up. Your sweet moment is interrupted when they hear, Soon-deuk call June behalf.
The two head out to greet Soon-deuk who fidgets nervously when June asked her about the early morning visit. She squirms even more when Yo-gwang appears, asks her why she is here again. June noticed something in Soon-deuk hands: a range of medical devices. It is natural for Yo-gwang but Soon-deuk protests vigorously that it is not - it is for them.
Jun studied medicine and says that it is good for stab wounds, as the Yo-gwang currently sporting. Then Yo-gwang grabs his injured side, while Jun and Yeon-hee adorably exchange grins amused. Soon-deuk pretends that it was a mistake with the medicine, she handed over to Yo-gwang before hightailing from there.
June begins soon -deuk front of the temple and blames her gently for her concern for Yo-gwang hidden that it denies. He asks her bluntly if she likes Yo-gwang, and again, they protested, saying that the only thing she likes money. It adds, in a sincere tone, what they hate most is to be a burden on anyone.

Soon-Ok deuk follows and watches from a distance, as he has his ticket for guards in front of the shed; He then mixed inside.
Soon-deuk returns in their local tavern to find Jun and Yeon-hee waiting for her courage potion in hand. June tells her to drink it, when things go well with Yo-gwang, then straight-up laughs in her face wants when she insists that it is not so.
Before leaving Jun and Yeon-hee, Soon-deuk she remembers about Ok to say, and what they saw. She asks if June should not try to stop him from running away. June face darkens, but all he says is that he must make on Ok now properly no time.
June, lost in thought, as to organize it and Yeon-hee potion ingredients at Cheongbing temple. Yeon-hee finally snapped out of his daze June and tells him to go see Ok - he regret it if he does not, and that is only on his heart at the end of a net. June looks resigned, Yeon-hee's right to know.

Ok is immediately defensive asking whether Juns brought the royal guards with him; June says that he would not do that, because Ok, life would be so much worse on the run. Ok begins to clap to tell June he is properly cooled to the end. He throws in June laugh, become as pathetic Ok.
His eyes filled with tears, Jun Ok says that the most pathetic of him his unwillingness is consequences. He does not run away Ok - if he has committed a crime, he has to admit it and deal with the punishment as it comes. This is the only way left is OK to live a respectable life, he says.

He puts them in a pretty house in the middle of nowhere -. It is their resort for the day. Yeon-hee wonders why they do not work on the last candle, but in June assures her that he has found someone to light it. He asks her to spend the day with him here, without thinking of nothing else but the two of them.

COMMENTS
What an incredibly poignant, bittersweet end - I'm so happy (and watery ) once to get rid of and for all that the authors decided to go this route, even if it meant a heartbreaking death of Yeon-hee as sacrificing one who even ended up as the curse. It's not that I do not our couple wanted to get her happy ending; it's just that the story from the beginning was so clear that there was only one way to light the last candle. What I did not like was like for the show to the use of some kind of deus ex machina to grip to allow our two lines, to live, and thankfully, it did not go this route.
Instead Yeon-hee's death was the right of this story of curses, black magic, and the fight against an unjust system to finish. Not only that, they sacrifice to the curse of the lift on the royal family and the country, but it is also allowed in June, to live his life, rise above the ranks to which he was born, and the Heo June we know books in our history. I especially loved the last moments of this episode, which ended with a hint of ambiguity: Although Jun and Yeon-hee meet again, although we are not quite sure if it is in Juns mind, or if it is in the hereafter. And the whole scene from when June turned into his younger self when he comes face to Yeon-hee to face, was achingly beautiful.
Hong-joo will live on as a villain who would not stop until the bitter end upward. I tend to agree with some of the others, who the show thought too much time spent going (to the detriment of other parts of the story) back and forth to Hong-joo fighting Yeon-hee, but in the end, Hong-joo the layered and complex character, played ball from Yeom Jung-ah, was fascinating to watch. I can understand that a person who is as abominable as Hong-joo still allowed a little pity; they got what was coming to her, but even then, thanks to Hyun-seo, they have death not only against.
In his final scenes, Hyun-seo did so many things that are completely aligned with what we know as a sign of it: He tried to moral leadership on how best to train as he could, offer by calling from Hong-joo for their sins, the recognition of his own sins and comfort, only to both Hong-joo and Poong-yeon before. in the fire walk I am also very happy that Hyun-seo saw to it that the curse by Poong-yeon intellectual fire would be cut - otherwise we could about the evils of black magic twenty episodes have had a reprise
for the most part, the final justice to wrought miracles that we know and love (or hate) have come. I loved Yo-gwang and Soon-deuk road to romance and the lightness and humor she brought into the story, and it was great to see that Poong-yeon found peace and a purpose in life. I was okay with Ok the end, since it at least some self-reflection in turn involved, even if it was only through the help of a potion. Although I on Mirror Witch from beginning to end was quite addictive, the drama was not without flaws. As many commentators have pointed out, there were certainly some inconsistencies and details that the show glosses (Who was it, exactly, the yo-gwang revived? Was it accidental mystery man with the sacrificial drink? If so, who the hell is he and why he has a copy of Mauigeumseo ??). I would have a little more focus on June and Yeon-hee in the entire second half of the show dealing with the candles with head, instead of waiting until the last episode used.
But these are minor quibbles. Overall, during its entire run, the story has been beautifully designed, the visuals were stunning, and the team of talented actors brought these characters to life perfectly. In my opinion the signs - all of them so nuanced, so interesting - and the incredible performances of the entire cast are what made the show worth watching. In particular, I will always remember this show the gem for the introduction, which is Yoon Shi Yoon-and I am grateful to have a part of the journey.
