Awww Se-jong, you're tearing me. I'm so relieved, somewhat delayed development in Se-jong, to finally see. It was gratifying to actually talk to him to see and emote. His cathartic confession to his mother has to be one of his best moments, and I to be really feel for him in his plea selfish. For weeks, I get frustrated with his lack of words and progress, but we see that the burden he carries is not everything homemade. He carries the burden of expectation that his mother is to be understood that as the oldest he responsibly and selflessly act. And so far, he was exceptionally good at meeting this expectation - he's gone through and everything that anyone has asked of him. But now it's on him that should be imposed, and do something for yourself. And the important something or someone is Hae-ra. It was clear to us from the get-go, but now is the ambiguity is gone for themselves. He made it clear that he and Hae-ra to commit to repairing his relationship.
Everybody got a form of confession from this episode, most of them related to romantic love. But it was different for Se-jong. While he has to tell his thoughts under a romantic confession, I love that his confessions were not to Hae-ra in this episode, but Mama and Se-Chan. He needed his struggles to Mama to confess because he strongly that the consent required to leave his load down responsible Hyung to be all the time. He needed to understand his brother and approve. This last scene in the epilogue killed me to imagine with Se-jong with Se-chan. His longing for the older and simpler days was so real, especially with how much nonsense he has had to deal with to get to this point of acceptance among the people he cares about actually. With his desire for his brother in mind, the bromance definitely had a melancholy undertone between Se-jong and Ray. It was undoubtedly lovable and necessary, but it also gave Se-jong is a reason for the days to be nostalgic when everything was right with the world. The common mistakes of Ray as Se-Chan to see evidence that Ray could actually act as a bridge between what was and what is. It is a hopeful thought, and I do not think Ray is still there.
