There is time to say goodbye to the delightful Dong-ha and the sexy Ji-yeon - but I'm not ready! Can not we keep it to just a little longer?
Thankfully, the latest episode with cute full 'n' fluffy moments of our favorite couple will actually get full, a couple is enjoying. Of course, there are still a few hurdles you must cross - such as whether or not Ji-yeon decide is with Dong-ha or go to England to stay, to fulfill their dreams as a reporter. But those are just details in the grand scheme of things. What is most important is that everyone gets to have their own moment in the show, "happily ever after." (What may or may not belong to a wedding. Okay, it's total.)
The final episode RECAP
the next morning, a sleepy Ji-yeon she wakes smiling on to Dong-ha, when he holds her in his arms. She is confused for a moment why he is there, but he is more than happy to remind them with a nice growl (and she is to be reminded more than happy if you know what I mean).
Then, because he is the best friend ever, he makes her breakfast in bed. But when he balance the tray, he knocks accidentally her bag, spilling its contents on the ground. He tried to put everything back in a hurry, but the Global Challenge Program acceptance letter catches his eye.
Instead of just going to work, Ji-yeon stops to meet with Na-Rae, who congratulated her: not for sexy times it last night (and apparently this morning) had but to win the competition for the exchange program. (I'm pretty sure that the sexy times a few congratulations deserved, though.) She is surprised that Ji-yeon, as it is not so excited thought they would, as they apparently have ever wanted to be a part to be this program, since it became a journalist.
Na-rae quickly realizes that Ji-yeon thinks instead of Dong-ha, and what it would mean, for one year (and back one year older) are gone. When she tells Ji-yeon it with Dong-ha to talk, she says that he is busy enough with his school and part-time job - she does not want another concern for his plate add
But too late, because he already knows, and he is lost in thought on his part ~~ POS = TRUNC hospital laboratory. He makes a quick call to Young-sik, where he learns how competitive the Global Challenge program really is and how much Ji-yeon was eager for years to win it. Dong-ha does not explain why he's interested in, but Young-sik is mighty suspicious his interest.
Ji-yeon meets with director Kwon, told him they will not do the exchange program. She tells him it's because they prefer to be Editor-in-Chief of the opportunity and did not want to forego an opportunity for promotion. Although it is doubtful that this is the right decision, he agrees.
While Dong-ha consider the Global Challenge program further and what it means, Ji-yeon goes, Soo-chul a-wooing on Troublemaker office. It delivers juice to Eun-Chae - and although it is actually not order if Rin-ji hurries with Soo-Chul flirt, Eun-Chae immediately takes the drink with a sweet, "Thank you, oppa!"
they are even a nice message when the others drink it, just as Rin-ji not they take their hands. Soo-Chul floats out of the office on cloud nine - to keep a stunned Rin-ji leaving the now empty beverage carriers. Ha
Ji-yeon mother wanders sadly through a flower garden, sighing as she recites Han Yong-un poem, "My Beloved Silence" .:

But director Kwon suddenly appears and sets the poem:
as we leave us worry when we meet,
I believe that if we separate, we see ourselves again
Then he blows out a passionate rendition of "you are so beautiful to me!", as he reveals the bouquet he had hidden behind his back.
But Mom is not as quick to forgive him to be fussy for those that he would vouch on one day, he falls to his knees. Still proffering the bouquet, he tells her that she should not be quick to forgive him, and all the time she needs to take should, because it means that continue to meet them. Well played, director Kwon; well played.
She snatches begrudgingly the bouquet from him, unable to his plea Hundeblick resist. The look of pure joy on his face is just too adorable.
After Ji-yeon returns home from work, Dong-ha tells her that he knows about the Global Exchange Program. He adds that he hurt a bit that she did not tell him about it, because they are supposed to be in a relationship honest about everything (his tone can be lighthearted, he says, but he is definitely seriously) ,
they did not tell him, because they are not chosen. It was hard enough for them to get this far in their relationship - what would happen between them when they were apart for so long? When he goes to her apartment, Dong-ha tells her that his father wants to have dinner with them. Ji-Yeon is at the thought of meeting him get a little panicked because they know how can be intense and intimidating his father, but Dong-ha assures her that he loves (all his father now know is that Dong-ha has a girlfriend, but not exactly who it is).

Soothes and be able to smile again, promises Rin-ji to make sure that they do not make a similar mistake again. Ji-yeon looks on thoughtfully, no doubt, as impressed as I am that this show the supporting characters manages to humanize even until the last minute.
Dong-ha and a nervous Ji-yeon Waiting arrive at his father at the restaurant. When he in her own room, Dong-ha father shows only a hint of surprise to see Ji-yeon is shown standing there - but he seems particularly surprising that such a successful reporter want to stay with someone who medical in his school for at least eight years.
But Ji-yeon surprised him when she says that she did not wait for Dong-ha. Instead, they will go next to him. She has her own work and aims to focus as they encouraged him to complete his objectives. Papa Yoon is delighted with their response, teasingly asking whether they be with such immature child in order. Although Ji-yeon assured him that Dong-ha is trustworthy and reliable, she admits jokingly he may be a little immature.
This all seems to be in order had to listen to his father, because with all smiles and laughter, it seems that he approved of Ji-yeon and her relationship with his son. Dong-ha its finale has just finished, and Soo-chul asks him to go with him and Eun-Chae on a weekend retreat. Oh-ho, so things have progressed well in this respect! Ji-yeon and Dong-ha, still walking in their wedding finery, along a pretty garden path (and he still holds the bouquet, aw). He suggests they go on their four-day trip to Jeju Iceland, while her mother is on her honeymoon away, but Ji-yeon just teases him that he always talks about Jeju -., Until she finally promises that they can go
He asks if they are going to marry. She reminds him that he is still a student, and he insists that there is no law that says a student not be married. Besides, what refuses for a woman to marry him three times

What a wonderful end to a wonderful show. And was as hot that wedding fake-out?
I appreciate the fact that Ji-yeon from, has become a woman, the so was the fact they bound on the altar jilted was expected to be on this anniversary nothing but bad luck, so someone which not only with content and is confident that they will be able Dong-ha "move" proposals until he graduates. You do not feel a pressing need to be just married, to be married, either because of their age or just because of what society expected of her.
She is also fully admits in order that it is not sure whether it finally to end in marriage, but she is from a place of fear to have to love gone to trust that Dong not unload-ha her, just because she is determined to marry at a later date, if at all.
And he who always perfect friend, agrees. He loves them so much that he respected their decision, even if he wants to remind them that he will be here, and will not stop, they want to marry. Unlike some other people who are not mentioned by name, he will not try to force her to marry him - he'll wait until it is finished
Really, though, I love Ji-yeon the last line: ". Right now, we do our best to love one another, and are lucky enough." So much more fulfilling than "and they all happy to live," because you get the feeling that spending by the two of them years broken and depressed about her lost love, they are finally able to be happy
which means that I have no complaints, we got quite a bit the last few episodes just enjoying the whole cuteness, lint and tying spending of loose ends. - Mostly romantic loose ends, it seems like everyone is now paired. (With the exception of arms, Ernst Young-sik. Oh, I'm sure someone would catch him, especially after having so long spent working with Ji-yeon!)
I do not mind not even the time-jump (walking normally makes me "grrr"), because not only it is virtually Drama law, but it does not actively hurt the relationship. They kept in constant contact, so that none of the "we break before you leave, and if we are when you have come back, meant the destiny will bring us together" nonsense. There was no fear that their affection for each other would decrease because Dong-ha and Ji-yeon loyal to a fault. The only complaint is that we had to muddle through an extra few minutes, do not have their cuteness, but Soo-Chul did his best to make it with his worship of Eun-chae.
go as secondary romances, I'm pretty happy with how the show finally treated Eun-Chae. She was all set to turn petty and underhand second guide in the standard, but the show respects either her (or realized that there was no way they could compete with the insane chemistry between Uhm Jung-hwa and Park Seo-joon ) enough to allow it to grow out of her eye on Dong-ha and be fully aware of what she was getting into with Soo-chul. I love it that it's another "witch" in the production.
Really, I love that this show was able to find many of the standard rom-com tropes to take and they undermined only slightly. So many times I would expect a scene to go a certain way, to observe only based on years of drama experience and be delighted when it defied expectations. How to discover Dong-ha father his son is dating older woman fourteen years genial and supportive and not even be flashing. (Seriously, best drama Country Parents ever .)
There would have been so much focus on the hyacinth finally bloom (because of how many shoes love their small symbolic trinkets?), But we get only a time-lapse view of it during the growing "a year later." I was relieved actually remembered the show to see (and to be fair, it was perfectly symbolic of Dong-ha and Ji-yeon growing relationship this year, despite the fact they were opposite sides of the world)
But that does bring me to the shortcomings of the show. sometimes seemed for another story line to be dropped completely characterize (as Eun-chae) and it was hard to say whether it was intentional or just convenience. Sometimes the processing could be confusing because I was not sure sometimes if something was a flashback, or it has occurred as much later in the day, or, you know, if they ever saw Shi-hoon in this damn airport. The pace was a bit off, too - with especially how everything suddenly dragged to an abrupt (and frustrating) halt with the appearance of Shi-hoon. And do not even let us through the minor defects, for the "Grobal" Exchange Program talk.
But any errors are so easy because of the amazing cast and characters to be overlooked. Park Seo-joon has made his name as noona Killer definitely, and proved capable as a leading man. But for me, the real joy Uhm Jung-hwa: they made the show for me. I can not imagine anyone else in that role - at least not someone who would like to be an effervescent, with the right balance of comedy (! Hello, drunk Ji-yeon) and heavy emotion (the mother-daughter scenes are always blow in the stomach). Not to mention it, the best lighting always had that made all their moves, the more beautiful and expressive.
Of course, the chemistry between Park Seo-joon and Uhm Jung-hwa is what will be the most memorable. Because it was crazy . Sometimes in dramas, you just accept on faith (or what the script tells you), that the two lines are actually attracted to each other, but not here: I think you could live on the moon and still look completely, that Dong-ha and Ji-yeon are meant to be together.
sincerity in relations are what I will remember most, long after I've forgotten the awkward editing. This is a show that sticks with you based on the strength of his characters.
Because I would love to be plopped in Dong-ha and Ji-yeon of the world, to be a friend or sister or daughter.
