Better grab an extra box of tissues, as this episode is a doozy. I'm not even sure if I can explain why an emotional wreck without. Just know that Wan to find out is how to handle the news of her mother, and everyone else is desperately searching for Hee-ja. On the bright side, Suk-gyun turns to be out the voice of reason that gives me hope that miracles can indeed happen.
EPISODE 14: "to the end like a mother; like a fighter to the end - Part 2"
Nan-hee ignored her phone as she fights the bus and to accept the fact that they have rides cancer. Jung-ah tried calling Hee-ja, but they do not answer their phone, either. Jung-ah is so desperate that it has once again carry two different shoes, and Choong-nam tried their stress with her two favorite freeing vices -. Smoking and swearing
Min-ho cries when he left the shooting of watches his mother every night her house. He feels guilty because he stopped her to the review, provided it was fine, and because he is more on his pregnant wife. Choong-nam not let him wallow in his pity party when she orders him to change so, they set may Hee-ja to find.
The bus reached the end of the line, and Nan-hee surprised to find himself, now alone at the bus depot.
Young-won is always ready to go on her date, upset that Nan-hee will not answer her phone always. Ha, she blames her manager to tell one of her co-stars has no talent, youth 'of young actresses out questions and beauty are good enough, and if they had talent, even then it would be no further roles for an old woman left to be like.

Choosing friendship over romance, she cries tears in her eyes her ex-husband. Smiling through her sadness, she tells him that she can not do on the day, and that at least they are on their memories when they were younger. She wishes him well as he returns to his wife, and holds together long enough to tell him goodbye before she collapses in her pain.
your ex know that this is their last chance, and he asks sad if he had told her that he was divorced. He asks his assistant after he dies, let Young-won know how much he loved her. Aw.
Suk-gyun scrambles to find his car keys and virtually barrels through its subsidiary provides a meal as he rushes out the door. He's on his way to help everybody, Hee-ja found, but he points out to Seung-jae, that it is not so that he knows what routes Hee-ja usually takes. They are sure that she has dementia? She has always been a little strange treated him. Seung-jae hangs up, and Suk-gyun keeps an eye out for anyone who resembles Hee-ja.
Helpless, Min-ho in his mother's house sits, testing and retesting them the phone to ensure that it works. Seung-jae makes calls to everyone he help her white track, and Choong-nam fears that Wan Nan-hee, and Young-won not answer their phones.
Seung-jae can 't just sit around and wait any longer, so he leads her to try and find. Restless, Min-ho is with Jung-ah proposal that they could be on the market (although Choong-nam indicate that Hee-ja delivered her food always, but at least it is something to do).
Jung-ah and Choong-nam Hee-ja Find list to herself about what, when, and then have to start, repeat do dementia they would clean up the mess in her kitchen cabinets. It's just so hard to wait and do nothing.
Min-ho runs through the area, continuously wiping his tears as he searches for his mother. Young-won joins the bar her and tells her that she talked doctor to Nan-hee and he has her surgery next week moved upward, rather than wait for their three weeks.
Then she takes the bottle away from Nan-hee and her own glass pours. Nan-hee protests, she recalled, she has cancer. Look who's talking. Nan-hee reflects on the fact that they might leave four months to live, if they do not get the operation, but then to improve only a twenty percent chance after surgery. Not very encouraging, is it?
The women outside the bar sit and rest a moment to sober. Nan-hee asks if Young-Won is afraid to die, but Young-won sighs that they stay alive just fights. She asks if Nan-hee wants Wan to say about the cancer itself or have Young-won tell her and Nan-hee says, it does not matter.
on their lives in retrospect asks Nan-hee at which waste was everything. She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter, and look where it got her. Young-Won says she should have slept with more men, when they had the chance, and the aunts about the idea of people laughing snake, to date it now.
On the drive home, Nan-hee asks how Young-won felt when she was first diagnosed with cancer. Young-Won ". How shit" The second and third diagnoses were not simple, either handle. Ha, Nan-hee cursed from her when she told to stop cursing Young-Won, and they laugh-cry as Yong Won Manager assumes to Nan-hee at home.
The Committee Hee-ja Search asked at the bridge and Choong-nam stares down at the river, stopped me, if she's committed suicide, but Suk -gyun blatant pragmatism says she would not have jumped. Hee-ja would have enough sense, since dementia does not progress that quickly.
He remembers Choong-nam, who both suffered from their mothers from dementia in her later years, but now there are better treatments so there is hope for Hee-ja. Choong-nam and I are both amazed at how reassuring to be it, and examines it on his knowledge of the "good husband of the 10 commandments." He cites easy the first (not take away his wrath from working on his family home) and Choong-nam is unimpressed, as they have told him Jung-ah to treat them well because, who knows how long they live links ,
Seung-jae treated Min-ho to dinner, eating more out of politeness, to be distracted by concern for his missing mother. But Seung-jae assures him that she will be all right - if something bad had happened, someone would have called now. It encourages eating Min-ho to keep its strength.
He asks if Min-ho is disturbed by the fact that he likes Hee-ja, and assured him that, although his feelings helped not, they are really just friends. Then he gets a call that one of his police contacts have found rushing record of Hee-ja movements, and the men to the police station. By looking through CCTV footage, one of the policemen has Hee-ja followed the path to the Han River Bridge. When they the material, Seung-jae asks observe what she wears on her back.
Wan a break on her novel takes chat with Yun-ha, and the couple are lovable as ever. Yun-ha has something new to show her, and shows a hiker, where he carried his arms on hoists. Overwhelmed by emotion, Wan says she is proud of him and shows of her agenda, in which it marks the day they can be together again , Yun-ha says he is waiting for them. comes back with renewed determination Wan for writing.

Wan struggling to accept the news of her mother cancer. Her face was unreadable as she asks if she can just now meet with the doctor. Young-Won takes the hospital it, and the doctor said that he still believes that surgery is the best choice, even if it is only a twenty percent chance to survive, because it means there is still some hope.
When Wan leaves the hospital, Choong-nam calls her over to fill Hee-ja. Wan she says now her mother over Hee-ja can not say, because Nan-hee has cancer. Stunned Choong-nam-rollers of this truth bomb, wondering, no doubt, why the aunts life imploded suddenly.
At home, Nan-hee is busy delivery arrangements for their restaurant when Wan came and took the phone from her. It calls a Nan-hee employees to tell them to look for the restaurant because Nan-hee is to have an operation soon, but Nan-hee snatches the phone out of his hand, which proves that they remain for ,
after the tenth call in a row, Wan gently tells her mother that maybe it's time to take a break for the night. It's one in the morning, anyway - nobody will answer the phone. As Nan-hee gets ready for bed, she complains that Wan too slow to get their pajamas -. Children these days are not so childish as it is

Her grandparents and uncle survived, because that is their fate, has not done anything for Nan-hee. Is it really make them feel better, to feel her daughter as a useless, miserable lump?
Nan-hee starts to cry when she says that she so hard, do not try to act. Trembling with emotion, Wan says her mother, who should they go through the surgery and chemotherapy. But Nan-hee screams that she's scared - she wanted so much to live
Wan bites his cheek and accesses the kitchen counter to try to keep up, while Nan-hee stabbing sobs by the house echo .. in a voice-over says Wan that night her mother - their strong source of refuge - had fallen. Her mother, who was as powerful as the ocean could no longer bear.
Meanwhile, Hee-ja continue to march along.
Young-won is at Grandma's, and though Young-Won told her only that Nan-hee will get surgery, Granny knows his serious needs as Young-Won is on abandoned.
Choong-nam made breakfast for hee-yes-search party who hee-yes home made their base camp while they hear more messages waiting on them. Seung-jae thinks about where Hee-ja to perhaps go, remembered how she said her saddest moment was when her first child died while they carried him to the hospital.
He begins her story about her husband's hometown and the street alone went together to piece. He asks where Hee-ja the man's hometown was, and it's actually Suk-gyun its striking memory, showing the exact address. This gives Seung-jae an idea and they set out to find the long road lined with trees to ensure.
Meanwhile, Wan and Nan-hee breakfast together, and Nan-hee admits that she still has appetite. This means it can not be a cancer because not feeling as cancer. Correct?
Wan proposes travel to distant, and Nan-hee agrees. It's not just to deal with in the mood with their customers now. But Nan-hee is also concerned because Wan once not cried about her mother, the cancer, like most children would do. Wan just smiles agree that they appear heartless.
drive The mother-daughter duo during their road trip adventure, and to ask them to give what the other thought. Nan-hee has wryly pointed out that they are actually for once on the same page. Jung-ah and Suk-gyun think they would have taken the path Hee-ja have then found, and Jung ah wishes that they visit their backs when Hee-ja used to live here had gone. Just as Choong-nam and Seung-jae deflect the road, they find Hee-ja before them. You have blocked them in substantially as they have all of their cars, to tell her how relieved they are found in a hurry to her.
But Hee-ja only annoying shake them away, shouting that Jung-ah a nasty bitch is to leave them behind. She grabs her screaming by the hair that she hates them, until finally Choong-nam is able to step in and pry them away from Jung-ah.
Hee-ja's face is pure rage when she called that she screams Jung-ah to help her with her son's illness, but they just told her that she had her own life hard to do. Her voice broke, Hee-ja shouts that Jung-ah's never there when she needs them.
Your tortured screams resound, as she screams that she could tell Jung-ah never, as they really did. Following earlier of Jung-ah cries to Suk-gyun, Hee-ja shouts bring for Jung-ah her son back. Jung-ah watches in stunned silence, tears in his eyes. She holds gently lamenting her friend in her arms as Hee-ja wept for her lost son.
Wan Nan-hee arrive at their destination, and Nan hee wonders how they are going to kill the time in their country cabin. When she revealed her hiding of soju, protested Wan. But it is not for Nan-hee - it is for Wan, or at least for the person who can drink while Nan-hee, not. Wan teases her mother for vicariously through her life, but she swallows gamely the soju down anyway as they endlessly sing karaoke songs.
search party's over, everyone comes to Hee-ja back the house. Choong-nam hastens to Hee-ja that her spare key enters silently by digging out of hiding their house. Choong-nam is relieved that the old Hee-ja is back, but Hee-ja bangs only the door in her face. Choong-nam is not disturbed - she knows her friend by their previous actions embarrassment is
Min-ho back waiting for her, but she did not. even look at him when she entered the house. When he cuddles with his mother next, wondered if he should move with her, she reminds him angry that he is married and he should focus on his wife.
She tells him that the doctor said, wouldn their delusional disorder 't be worse if they only take their medication. She promises to do better to take their medication and go to the doctor - it is okay to be living on their own feet. But she hides her face in the pillow, as she cries softly, and Min-ho has his own tears to wipe away when he stops himself.
When she sleeps, Min-ho they observed his silent tears fall freely. He tenderly and gently kisses her on the cheek, and then her hand, and then her feet.
Wan not make the best surrogate drinkers, always totally trashed only one bottle of soju. She goes to the bathroom to pee and to be sober - by relying struck on the face, hard. She slams her head out of the bathroom merry Nan-hee sing to demand another song, and then proceeds to cut back on her face in the water - and continue to beat yourself sober. Or perhaps beat senseless.
When she looks in the mirror, Wan realizes that since she heard about her mother cancer, she realized how selfish she really is. Instead of her mother from worrying, she could only think about how, what it would mean for them - and especially their relationship with Yun-ha. She remembers his ultimatum, if they do not come back, he will not forgive her
So it is how Nan-hee's daughter -. And actually every child in the world - has no right to shed a tear, because they all shamefully selfish.
COMMENTS
Oh, my heart is. All these amazing actresses and actors have to prove why they were in business all these years, but this episode has made it clear exactly what incredible talent is on display. These scenes could be found on the side of too melodramatic, but the rawness of emotion, even if it was a feeling that everyone was trying to hide by came so vividly that it was more felt real comfortable as can be seen.
Kim Hye-ja especially during its last eruption so evokes a visceral reaction I seemed so sad and helpless felt like the other aunts and uncles to be. Dementia is such a cruel disease, and it is to think painful that it in the most painful painful memories Hee-ja lock can it at the end. But I hope at least that her confession about how difficult their lives have been - especially with nobody to share it with - somehow freed them. All that deep-rooted anger that they need to have set aside, because it is the sweet "odd duck" had to find refuge somewhere. While I do not enjoy the blame Jung-ah will feel safe, it was definitely showing high time for Hee-js that her life has been assumed so easily not have been as any.
I mentioned previously how impressed I. From his usual comedic relief food with Lee Kwang-soo and his departure, but it definitely deserves once again be determined I'm not sure that I will be able to see with his schtick goofy pretty much, knowing the same way, what a dramatic power plant it is now really. Here's hoping that he would be able to find more roles that allow him, so deep emotions (and end up down beside him cry) represent.
And then there is Nan hee. Stubborn Nan-hee and her equally stubborn daughter, who are more alike than either would admit. I know I should feel for Nan-hee, and I - but I also feel for Wan, who is now stuck between the two people she loves most. Is it me make one of these ungrateful children, if I hope she chooses somehow Yun-ha? Is there a way they can both choose?
Nan-hee can be a tough nut because of their possibilities, taxes and pinning all their hopes and dreams for their daughter, but I still do not want to die alone, struggling with cancer. But I want to be slipping back with her mother beck-and-call to see how they sacrificed their own hopes and dreams not Wan. Nan-hee, whether she likes it or not, must now begin to realize how short life can be, and you would think that they want to ensure that her daughter chose to spend their lives with love and happiness. I can only hope that it has this kind of wake-up call, but then again, it has cancer to have a small chance to live longer than a few months, to be terrifying, and so I can not blame her if she tries , cling to Wan until the end.
might be better that fortune teller is, as we think, and might prove the optimism of a doctor even in the smallest chance of survival than fruitful. Maybe we can relax and remember that this is a drama that the finish line is near rages, and as banal as any a "happy ending after" could get, it is a commonplace that I with open arms would receive. But maybe I'll still bite my nails at the end, out of fear for what will happen at the end of this aunties, I'm grown to love as if they were my own.
