When Hae -Young settle and Do-Kyung in their new, tentative friendship, they are slowly but surely to each other a little more open every day. the show somehow always better and better. Everything about it is so to the point, from the acting and directing, the way it combines humor and drama that, in a perfect blend that goes stupid and sad just under the skin and will not let go. It's probably one of the best dramas I've ever seen, but I do not just visually (thought visually it's nice, too). Everything about him is so beautiful, by the actors themselves on the camera, the way the scenes are framed and shot, the music, everything. But the tone of the show is so sad and melancholy that would collide with the physical beauty, but not at all. The two tones complement each other perfectly, the cuteness and sadness, and to somehow improve each other in a truly unique way. There are many dramas that are enjoyable to watch for many different reasons, but this just makes you feeling something special, no matter what is actually happening on the screen, and that's just simply brilliant director.
In fact, this show really lives the contrasts in life to be highlighted, especially in the figures themselves. Do Kyung is quiet and sad, but it is also caring and attentive, and an excellent listener who rarely speaks, but when he does, it's amazing insightful. Hae-young is uncertain and vulnerable, but it is so strong and outspoken and fearless to say what she thinks, even if she thinks that she can be ostracized for it. The minor characters are a fun mix of small features such as Soo-Kyung, may be the mean, but has a loyal heart and a protective strip wide a mile. Jin-sang at first glance look like an idiot, but he is an excellent friend and supportive to a fault.
