When Dan-tae growing closer to Gong Shim, he draw and Jun-su further apart. If the trust is already thin, the slightest misunderstanding can snowballed into something unforgivable. Jun-su tried so hard to protect everyone, but it might be too late, before he realizes that he also needs protection.
The blood may be thicker than water, but you can still drown in either one.
EPISODE 16 RECAP
Jun-su and Dan-tae agree later that day to meet any planning to speak to reveal their own truth on the other. Dan-tae looking through his box of clues and thinks he'll reveal everything today, lifting the blame from Jun-su, so that he will not try to go down to protect his mother.
out of his reverie interrupted by a knock on his door, Dan-tae takes Gong Shim outside with a drink and a favor to ask. He invites them, stashing made his way to his secret box.
Dan-tae the drink Gong Shim brought for him and thanks her in a baby voice (essentially saying: "Tank you berry berry much") enjoys. The child's voice alerted Gong Shim and when he declares been so serious lately, and that he wanted to lighten the mood, she forbids him ever again this voice. Heh.
Gong Shim says Dan-tae that they applied to a company and made it to the interview round. She asks him to them so they can prepare their questions to mock interview. Dan-tae true light, but it is a warning that the interviewers ask these days very difficult questions, so he be sure will do the same.
The interview begins and Dan-tae goes down pat each of Gong Shim answers, picking at their lack of education and poor professional experience. They tried to contain her growing anger, but eventually snaps and Dan-tae found strangled by an angry Gong Shim.
When Dan-tae face reaches the shade of a tomato, Gong Shim snaps out their anger and apologizes to the shell-shocked lawyer. Dan-tae asks if he can see to meet her later that evening, and the two make plans to Dan-tae meeting with Jun-su.
In Seok Manor, Jun-su the envelope out of the lab and staring opened incredulous that the results show no genetic match to the side; Dan-tae is not Jun-Pyo.
yet gathered in the main room, Jun-su family grows curious about how he stays out in the hallway. Uncle particular looking uncomfortable, no doubt worried that Jun-su is about everything uncover with Jun-Pyo kidnapping.
Jun-su returns and announces to the family that he will resign this week from his position at the Star Group. He explains that he wants to succeed on its own merits and is planning to start his own company
Everyone is shocked - Jun.-Sus mother especially - but goes Jun-su in his room, where he accepts the results again, tumbling that his guess was wrong.
Back in the loft, Dan-tae has some reflection of his own. A flashback shows us that Dan-tae had seen that day in his bathroom Jun-su interest in his toothbrush. He had it with the location of some he lured kept at his desk.
Dan-tae had then turned his own brush with Gu-nam (both the same brand were). So is the toothbrush that Jun-su, the DNA was checked was actually our favorite convenience store clerk. Clever, clever, Mr. Dan-tae.
Later Jun-su overheard his mother and his uncle talk about Dan-tae father in hospital in a coma to be. Uncle reminds Jun-sus mother that she was the one who had said 26 years before him, without spending time for the boys looking. He warns them not to let him hang, since it is also a part of it.
Both fear that Dan-tae's father could cause problems -pyo from Jun education. Uncle tells Jun-sus mother if he should wake up, it's the end for them.
Jun-su barely makes it back to his room before he collapses devastated to learn that his mother left his cousin and how cruel his own family just discussed another man's life.
Dan-tae aunt again visits his father in the hospital. Amazingly, he opens his eyes, they run for the nurse. In her surprise, she did not notice the man uncle stationed at the hospital.
The man cries uncle and reports that aroused Dan-tae's father. Uncle has him in the hospital there and heads to wait to confirm it with his own eyes. When he goes, noted Jun-su leave his hastily. Spidey senses tingling, he follows.
aunt calls Dan-tae with the good news, and he rushes to the hospital by, thinking that when his father woke up and he plans later Jun-su to tell the truth, everything is all in order turned out. Those sound like some famous last words.
uncle comes hospitalized first with Jun-su hot on the heels. He calls Dan-tae aunt, to identify themselves as army friend who come into the lobby before the call and asks her, as it is here with the gifts he promised last time. Jun-su Hearing follows uncle when he boards on the elevator to the ICU.

Dan-tae comes rushing in his father's room just as a group of doctors / nurses by. With an emergency trolley He whines helplessly through the window, as the doctors try to save his father. Aunt rushes over and Dan-tae bursts into tears, whimpering, "I believe, is father to die."
Ignorant, Jun-su comes from what happens in the hospital at the meeting point. His mother and threats Uncle Dan-tae father ring in his ears, the memory makes him physically ill.
Apparently miracles, as Dan-tae's father was rescued; he's back in a coma, but at least he has informed the doctor on this side of the grave
Dan-tae, it seems there was foul play involved his father relapse. Someone deliberately disconnected the machines keeping him breathing.
Dan-tae hear how the doctor confirms, in shock that it does not attempt an accident and someone was to murder his father. hardens his face, as if he had remembered from Jun-su exciting the elevator earlier views. Cursed! Knew you would come back to bite us.
laid Dan-tae holds, with his angry face in place, his appointment with Jun-su greeting both men today in cool tones.
Jun-su, he says brought Dan-tae here to tell him that from that moment on, he should stop looking for Jun-pyo. Dan-tae replied that that was what he had wanted to Jun-su and say; that he would search for his cousin to give up. But now he has changed his mind.
Dan-tae vows to find the perpetrators, took the Jun-Pyo, and him. To Jun-su leaves with a final gloss, Dan-tae and Jun-su stares after him, panicking.
Gong Shim waiting for Dan-tae that night to wear a pretty dress and pace. it Dan-tae from afar, but still bowed sees from his confrontation with Jun-su, he calls her cell phone and apologized and said he can not keep to fulfill their promise.
Gong Shim brush them off with a cheerful voice, fibbing that it either was not up there and does not even leave the house. She tells him not to worry and hangs up and sat down on her tired legs a rest.
Gong Shim returns home and Dan-tae plods his roof. He breaks on his couch, but keeps memory of the image of Gong Shim waiting for him.
Gong Shim get benefits up to a call from Dan-tae, who tells her that he only came home, and wonder if they could take evening today , contains hardly her excitement, Gong Shim runs pretty much down Dan-tae on the road to take.
The two go to see a late-night movie. Gong Shim acknowledges that there so late to see a show and to roll as the film begins her first time, Dan-tae reached over and grabs her hand in his. She grins and pushes his hand away.
Soon the two of them have passed out in the theater, resting their heads on each other's shoulders. All together now: Awwww ...
Morning Gong Shim heads after their interview. She is busy their answers to rehearse when Dan-tae you connect. He tells her that he had a really good dream (what luck to be considered), and he has it in turn, sell them to buy him a meal after their interview.
Gong Shim agrees to dinner and they continue to their meeting, Dan-tae right on the heels, her along nudged.
with President used yet at Star Group thanks her father's interference / fanboy compounds Seok, Gong Mi gets a surprise visit from Jun-su. He invites you to lunch to discuss something and nervously reminded Jun-su Mom words as if they had discovered Gong Mi naive act.
We get another subway PPL as Gong Mi and Jun-su share a few foot-longs. Jun-su brings that his mother told him about Gong Mi deception, but he gives it does not really bother. He asked them here instead for a favor.
Jun-su familiar to that he starts his own business and asks Gong Mi to join his company as General Counsel of the Company. Ugh, Gong Mi meek, she tells herself is not sure if it is good enough and asked to think about some time, but right now she's back in her office, she smiles to herself.
Gong Shim interview goes well, the interviewer, the unique and warm feelings behind their sketches recommending. Gong Shim breaks even their Italian language skills to show how committed to her dream was to draw.
leave their interview, Gong Shim runs in Jun-su outside the building. He grins over her interview to hear and apologizes for not being able to take to celebrate when he has an appointment. Gong Shim drives and Jun-su passes into the building just left.
It turned out, the appointment has Jun-su, is consulted with the people, the Gong Shim only. Fate seems to have intervened, as the company that Gong shim is applied, the same one that Jun-su starts. He smiles Gong Shim see application, but he does not say anything, the interviewer to say that he is sure they will choose the right person.
Grandma Calls Jun-su into the office and asks him to go for it in Yeoju with an order. She had ordered there some ceramics of a professor and he had asked for Jun-su, wanted to see him again. Jun-su is true as Dan-tae enters the office.
Gandma asks Dan-tae with Jun-su to go, because the professor has moved there before driven residences and Dan-tae knows the location to have.
Commence awkward drive, as the two head to Yeoju. noticed Jun-su that Dan-tae not go in the right direction, and he says that he has a little errand to run first.
The little errand at none other than the Yangpyeong Arboretum, the visible Jun-su discomfits. Dan-tae ignored it and asks Jun-su him to come inside, because it somewhat difficult to pick up and needs help to carry it, and Jun-su reluctantly agrees.
The Office Dan-tae asks for the gardener who had identified before Jun-su image to Dan-tae. Oddly enough, as now, the man is no longer working in the gardens. Dan-tae get their contact information, but if he calls him, has the phone is off.
Elsewhere the missing gardener Uncle is treated to lunch. Uncle is all smiles as he assured the man that he would buy him a new phone and find a nice job for him somewhere near his home. All the man has to do is forget that he had ever seen Jun-su and his mother in the gardens that day. The gardener agrees avidly to the deal, happy to accept an envelope of money.
Uncle flashes back to when he had picked up the gardener sooner. Shortly before leaving, Uncle had seen Dan-tae and Jun-su arrive Arboretum. Back at the dinner table, he wonders what the two of them were there to do. He recalls the gardener that he has to change his phone and may never return to the Arboretum in conjunction.
In the Garage uncle has just parked when Dan-tae and Jun-su go. He hears Jun-su Dan-tae face, to tell him he knows that Dan-tae deliberately took him Arboretum. Jun-su wants to know if this has something to do with the search for Jun-Pyo, furious that Dan-tae would continue searching after he told him to stop.
Jun-su warns Dan-tae again not to look for Jun-pyo, but Dan-tae asks why he has to stop searching. Jun-su mocks that Dan-tae can not see the effect of his search is, the gardener as an example. When the man misses suddenly then it means Dan-tae should stop searching.
Dan-tae then throws away quietly Jun-su of Hiding the gardener. It continues through Jun-su protests that he knows, Jun-su at Yangpyeong Arboreutm was the day of the meeting, and he cover for whoever he found there. Dan-tae says does not care that Jun-su is, but he still wants to find whoever, and whatever he's hiding.
uncle back to his office and laughs that Dan-tae suspected Jun-su. He grins as he muses that things turn out to be very interesting.
Dan-tae visited and noticed that his aunt rather scrawny looking, and she admits that she feels responsible for his father to let alone his father. She tells him that the security has been updated and the police checked the CCTVs but comfortable, the monitors were broken, so there is no record of this time.
Dan-tae his aunt asks again to tell him that day, and when she mentioned the army friend who called her away, he asks for the number of man.
Dan-tae will ring the number and back to his office, Uncle replacement phone calls. He does not recognize the number, so he lets it ring, suspect, who could it be. He calls the building security to Dan-tae get phone number, and then to see roles that it is the very number that just called his secret phone.
Dan-tae takes Gong shim out for their dinner Post interview, and she thanks him to help her to practice their responses. Gong Shim reaches for a napkin and Dan-tae is also sufficient grab her hand. He asks for only three spoonfuls of food to stay like this. Both adorably bicker over the length of time, and Dan-tae makes a face when she finally pulls her hand back.
Then Dan-tae and Gong Shim walk by a street party, where they stop at a henna tattoo stand. When Dan-tae looks at the designs, Gong Shim grabs his hand. She asked how the stay for two blocks. Dan-tae right in his baby voice, grinning from ear to ear.
Dan-tae back to his room that night and smiles to remember their hand-holding. Suddenly he thinks about the henna booth where he had seen a girl get a butterfly design. Recalling the details of his abduction, Dan-tae finds out that the perpetrator must have had a butterfly tattoo.
The next day, Gong Shim worried stares at her phone, waiting for the call on their interview results. Just as she reaches to pray on full, the phone rings.
out in the family room says Gong Mi her parents to work through Jun-su listing for them in his new company. You will get it to work next week, and Mom and Dad commend Jun-su to take the initiative on his own success (Mom gets in a few snarky comments about how the son is nothing like his mother).
Gong Shim comes running in, screaming that she got the job. Mom, Dad, and Gong Mi all congratulate her and the family celebrates employs both daughters. Gong Shim calls Dan-tae, to tell him that she has been accepted and he offers her to take this afternoon to eat.
Gong Shim starts her first day at work, to be able to eagerly greet their colleagues. Your boss congratulates her, then calls a greeting "President Seok." Gong Shim revolves around Jun-su.
Jun-su is seen enthusiastically, see that it has been accepted, but it takes Gong Shim another minute to figure out that this is the company that Jun-su told her to start on the request. Dan-tae comes outside Gong Shim of the building to make it for their lunch plans. He gets a call from his aunt, who received a call from an unknown number, the suspended than it answers. She is nervous and asks if he had no luck with his father to call army friend. Dan-tae says that he try again.
Jun-su goes from Gong Shim and uploads it to have lunch with her and Dan-tae. He looks a little uncomfortable, but did not say no. As Gong Shim and Jun-su outside get Dan-tae call retried uncle phone ... and ringing of Jun-su starts coming. Oh no.
Jun-su examines his phone but is realized come the ringing from inside the bag. He pulls out a strange phone and stares in confusion. Dan-tae, still the number of the caller hears the ringing and locates them on the phone now in Jun-su hand.
Gong Shim sees Dan-tae and calls him out so that Jun-su look and see how he on the phone. Dan-tae ends the call and the phone in Jun-su hand simultaneously stops ringing. Jun-su locks back eyes with Dan-tae, who stares into his eyes with murder.
COMMENTS
Uncle, you sneaky bastard. I knew he was low, but I honestly do not know that he would stoop so low as to make his own flesh and blood. Kidnapping Jun-Pyo was one thing he was not even related to the boy - not that that justifies his actions in any way, shape or form - but I thought he is the type was added to protect his family, as he and his sister seem to stay together. Obviously, I was wrong, because he sacrificed not only his own nephew, he did not even feel remorse for his actions. The moment when he realized that Jun-su of Dan-tae was targeted, he hesitated never to use for his own benefit, to laugh when he saw an opportunity, as his own skin to save.
Nasty, scheming uncle aside Jun-su tried to so hard to protect everyone. I think that the real reason he is now a bit of a shower to Dan-tae to be, he's trying to protect him from harm. him clear of this whole mess if he thought Dan-tae was his cousin who was different because no escape family is there, but now that he has "proof" that they, Jun-su wants nothing to do just to get , After listening to his mother and uncle pretty plot Dan-tae of the father's death, he is afraid that his friend injured from his participation. Unfortunately, the fact that Dan-tae is no family that Jun-su will not tell him the truth, which leads naturally more and more misunderstandings. It looks like the attack on his father just enough was Dan-tae to push on and take off the kid gloves, if they have to do with his cousin.
It's really a shame because now that his uncle has shown his true colors, there really is not that someone other than Dan-tae, who are from Jun-su could. His mother cares more for the position of her son as his feelings, and President Seok is a bit of a flake. I am glad that his friendship with Gong Shim is still intact, since the only times that we still have that million-watt smile is to see if they around. I just hope he does not firmly grasp on the relationship because it is obvious that they are. Head over heels for Dan-tae When Jun-su that the last person loses his life, it might be too much for him. He turn better not to Gong Mi consolation - the girl fifty shades of crazy and has many of its own twisted issues to work out before it can help someone else
I am glad that they bring. Shim gong story back, because I wonder, began to why she had (given ironic title of the show) even in this drama. I could not figure out what it was that they brought to the table, but it seems that they bring it main purpose of our guys from the edge back. Jun-su smile only reappears in her presence, and every time, Dan-tae reached a new hurtle, Gong Shim was there to make him laugh again - even if he did not have to force it shut. I loved that moment in the movie where you could say that Dan-tae was still angry, but only hand Gong Shim holding was enough to calm him.
Yet as important as a mad to bring them men back to their happy places, I'm a bit more of Gong Shim hope. Your strength of character comes from its blunt honesty and general acceptance of the other, something that could use any other characters now. The more these guys circle each other in confusion, still more I to curse at my computer screen. I would really prefer not to end yet another episode with Dan-tae and Jun-su glaring today.
