It's time , farewell Seok-Ho and his Ddanddara boys as I is much harder to ever expect it. Entertainer a fun has been so little show, with characters I'll miss, and I'll Hyung and its history remember most fondly. It was a sweet trip, with lots of laughter and tears, and a couple of nice life lessons along the way, to remind us that no matter how hard life is when you lean on your friends, you can realize your dreams.
EPISODE 18 RECAP
Now that he Ha-neul feelings for Geu-rin, Seok-ho stop the two when Geu-rin returns to watch to see can not these feelings is noted. Mr. Byun checks his phone and sees that Jinu is at the top of search engines, confessing his part in the theft of a song for an article he published online.
He admits that he did not know until after the song was released, but that he accepts all by guilt. He apologizes to his fans, and announces that he returns the song to its rightful owner and leave to study abroad.
Seok-Ho calls Jinu to scream at him, as he told him it was all taken care of. He is shocked to learn that Jinu on the way is now to England, but Jinu appears for the first time in many years happy. Seok-ho says Jinu to stay in touch and let him know when he needs something, and Jinu vote goes thick as he thanks Seok-ho for everything, and says he will miss him.
And as wait Miraculously, there is a huge amount of fans for Jinu at the airport, to sing for him to come back soon. He is deeply moved and bows low to them, and leaves with his head high and kept a smile on his face.
Ha-neul takes Geu-rin for a walk, and finally confesses his feelings for her. But he says it as it is not a big deal, and says that he is glad that she first love is as good as his was, and that it has withdrawn. They tried to deny that she likes Seok-ho, but Ha-neul it does not buy. Look terribly comfortable when they re-interpreted to the house that Seok-ho as Geu-rin Ha-neul feelings back.
CEO Lee is notified that not a single artist from KTOP on the list of candidates for the Asia Awards this year. Not only that, but he learns that his artists are ready to leave KTOP unless a new CEO is appointed.
The CEO of Wild Company provides KTOP to buy that would let recoup at least to support CEO Lee some of his money his family. Lee goes back to his office to realize that he has no choice, but it takes a lot of effort to tilt his nameplate and leave the building in shame.
The deals on the Ddanddara boys roll in and Kyle even gets the chance on popular variety show to appear "Man Running". Seok-Ho found in the rain next to a little girl looking longingly at his frilly green umbrella, and even though it goes against his every instinct, he gives it to the girl. Awww.
He shows wet and cranky soaking in a television station where the boys compete in a row for the fourth week on a music show. You win again, and get to lead a new song that makes optimistic and fun. Life is pretty good for the band these days.
There are an intense look-off between Mr. Byun and Min-joo, arguing that whether to change Mango Entertainment name (wins Min-joo, and the name remains). They also argue about them the rightful CEO is, as they have each funded by Ddanddara albums, but this time they are to agree co-CEOs. It is also the time to bring on more employees, and Min-joo has already hired someone - her old boss of Ocean Music, HAHA.
Ha-neul gets an offer in a drama to be, and he is confident that he can pull off a character who has an unrequited love. Good boy, that's how you make lemonade from lemons.
Seok-ho is angry when his new favorite (he of KTOP yoinked where he had his old favorite), who is now the band Manager, can accidentally come out Kyle to a dance club with Man-Shik. If Seok-ho it bursts, Man-Shik sneaks away and Kyle tries to act like nothing is wrong, but Seok-Ho takes off his jacket to kill him. "Words do not work for you, right?"
beat After a tone, Seok-Ho takes Kyle to his family restaurant with him about his constant clubbing to speak, and Kyle insists that he is just lonely. Seok-ho tells him to go an idol if he likes dancing so much, and Kyle agrees (though accused only after much sass) to stop every night going out.
Geu-rin seems lonely as they make their classmates in the school going to do Friends watches and fun, but as a returning student is a bit of an outsider. It ends up in the library and is caught reading "Daddy Long Legs".
Seok-ho remains in the office late, reading Ha-neul drama script, so he is still there when Geu-rin bursts all excited. Seok-ho is grumpy because they stop working for him apparently while she goes to school. She gives him the book "Daddy Long Legs" and tells him to read the last page, and laments that she was going to go home and eat cereal for dinner, again as Seok-ho soooo busy is.
Seok-Ho takes its track, but tells her just to go, and reminds them that they must find an apartment because the boy a new move to place, and they can not go, if it is not her manager. However, once it's gone, Seok-Ho takes the book and looks at the last page as Geu-rin requested.
She is one line is selected: The two eventually belong together . At the edge they wrote that they marry and live happily ever ... "Just saying." Dude, that's your cue, they are going to get! But he does not do it, and just puts the book away in his desk and goes back to work.
he gets a call from Yeon-soo and goes from his parents restaurant to bring Chan-hee, where they saw him, and Seok-ho mother says that it is good that Yeon-soo is successful, but that his son missed him.
Seok-Ho parents order half jokingly Seok-ho to get married and make them grandparents, and when he squeezed gently to sleep Chan-hee seriously in the car and sighs, he seems actually to think about it.
Geu-rin treated the boys to smoothies, and they can say it has something to say. He thinks that the female lead of the film should go to someone the country already hates who has nothing left to lose and makes a brilliant suggestion: Lee Ji-young.
Ji-young is back home with her parents present, and their lives seem an easy and happy to be. Seok-Ho calls her father to Ji-young to ask, and tells him about the film offer. Her father agrees to her, and talk things over with the director to talk.
Ji-young accepts the offer seriously, nervous to sit back in the national spotlight. But she asks if her father help her if she does, and he tells her that wherever she goes, he will always be by her side. "Do not be afraid, and do what you want."
Ha-neul Geu-rin request and displays them at school, and he struck speechless when he sees a pretty coed to him (Cameo of Park Eun-bin ). He stops to ask her where Geu-rin of the department it is, and adorably stiffened as she leans in close to show the way. HA when he gets in the car, he realizes that he did not hear a word of their directions.
And then he is surprised by a knock at the window - it's back! Asks nervously for a ride on the building next door, and Ha-neul grinning like a fool when he agrees. Then he has to admit that he can not remember their directions, hee.
He lets the girl (oh, he is so beaten) and makes a splash in Geu-rin of the building when all her classmates recognize him. Geu-rin go overboard with their high-pitched HA-neul-AH !!! , and he laughs at her when she says she wants now had a megaphone. Suddenly all her classmates want to be their friend - mission accomplished.
Geu-rin wants to see a movie, but Ha-neul she says their new drummer today are meeting. Kyle is preparing the new man right off the bat intimidate, and he tries one last time to convince Jae-hoon to stay, but it does not
The boys are all shocked to see their new drummer. - It is the pretty student! Kyle suddenly changes his tune and saluted them, and Ha-neul smiles as she finally sees him there. Her name is Soo-yeon, and it blows away, as they show off their drum skills. Ha-neul actually to wipe the happy grin from his face hee.
When she is finished, she by Ha-neul for the ride earlier right before all, and he asks her if she knew who he was , She says that a hat and sunglasses can not hide such a beautiful face, and heeey , girl is obviously so excited as he is.
Min-joo in the office stays late, and they cheered when Yeon-soo arrives with Chan-hee. Yeon-soo says he have missed at the welcome dinner for Soo-yeon, so he brought her coffee.
Yeon-soo allows the new drummer is pretty, but he still thinks Min-joo is nicer. Min-joo says that he should not keep such things to say girls because it might start a scandal. Yeon-soo: "I wish," Ha
Min-joo can he say like someone, and chirpily asks him who it is .. He says it is someone she knows, but she wonders who it if not could be Geu-rin or Soo-yeon. Yeon-soo says he you know that love is a fastball, so he is now throwing a fastball ... "I like you."
He says that if you confess with someone, it is no longer up to you, and he puts the ball neatly in Min-joo of the Court. He still believes that he is not worth of it, so is at much younger and a single father, but he could no longer keep his feelings to himself.
Min-joo brings their age difference, but Yeon-soo does not care about it. He is not asking for a commitment from her, but he jokes that his youth is his greatest weapon, and he can wait for them. Min-joo promises to think about it, and Yeon-soo flirts that they should not wait too long.
Joo-han has opened his own restaurant Ramyun, and he seems happy. He is surprised and humbled when a huge flower arrangement will be delivered on his first day, by Seok-ho and Ddanddara band.
Geu-rin and their new friends from a sudden rainstorm caught without umbrellas, but as it is a wet run for it to make, Seok-ho comes with her green umbrella out of nowhere. He offers her his arm, and as they go for a leisurely stroll in the summer shower, he denies ravishing that he read the end of "Daddy Long Legs". Not that she believed him.
Everyone heads for the Asia Awards, with Soo-yeon chirping, the prettiest looks Ha-neul in his tuxedo. Man-Shik grumbles at all the dating that is within the agency going on, but Mr. Byun smiles that youth not hesitate to do. Min-joo adds that fastballs are nice, heh.
The boys arrive at the awards venue, and a crowd of fans from their van step. Seok-ho sends down the red carpet to walk alone, but halfway to the steps. All four stop in silent agreement You see where Seok-ho is standing behind the camera and motion him to come.
The refuse to move until he does, and Seok-ho are humble and grateful steps to join them. "You guys are idiots." "We are entertainers," replies Ha-neul. And all together, just as they should be, they go confidently into the future.
COMMENTS
There are dramas that you intended to shock and surprise you at a wild thrill ride send, and then there are dramas that you are perfectly happy seeing with a nice neat strip and sent bound happily on his way with everyone. For me Entertainer always has the second type of drama, and I'm so happy, everything is set right and Seok-Ho and his boys to see all get their perfect picture today. I appreciated that being famous was not necessarily everyone's dream, and that Seok-ho has been a good guide that allows the boy captain their own destiny.
It's sweet that everyone got his own little wrap-up, and at least when it all ended very pat, pat the entries were interesting. Seok-ho and Geu-rin got their chance to be together (I never really pairing against it, and I thought it was well treated), Ha-neul got his girl, who, Jae-hoon was shared his love of music able to make his own choice of music and his studies, Yeon-soo got his shot at the lady of his dreams, and Kyle got to be famous (he is the only one, ha really wanted fame). Also Joo-han got a restaurant, and Ji-young was given a chance to use their infamous reputation to earn a second chance. Yes, it was a little too perfect and The enchanted, but as I said, sometimes it's nice to finish things perfect. Not every drama has to be earth-shattering and groundbreaking -. Sometimes a sweet story with a nice end enough
The best part of the drama was undoubtedly Hyung history, and I am glad that the show is as much attention was, as it has done. I found Sung-hyun captivating in its early, brief appearances, and the show kept the details of his death a mystery for just long enough that if we know the truth, it's hard landing. It's such a waste that he could not wait for Seok-Ho to come home, that he did not have enough courage and faith in his own talent of his friend support to allow and help him get back his music. But Sung-hyun's death served some important lessons to teach to many people, and at the end he went out with class and grace, finally got on stage to sing with his little brother. I do not know about you guys, but that the performance had me out sobbing - it was such a beautiful tribute and send-off of a beloved brother and friend.
While the show had its weaknesses early on (especially in the editorial that fortunately itself well corrected), and will never remain for his great memories, I still feel that it accomplished what they reach came, and did it well. I agree with the review many viewers that Ji Sung supports incredible acting skills and increases his co-stars, so that they went much better than the show, but I have to give the cast credit, relatable their characters and adorable for the production of in their own right.
Those of us that hung there and gave a chance to show to the end were lucky enough to experience about love a sweet show forgiveness, redemption and perseverance. I know, I remember, it will as one of my pure fun shows to recap, because I always knew that no matter what, each episode would make me laugh, and really think about what it means , in order to be successful . Success does not always mean fame or size -. Sometimes success is the best only do with what you have given, and I think Entertainer did exactly what
