Well, that is, as more. I already enjoy in the first week of Uncontrollable Fond , but today revealed more backstory, and taking enough time to get into the emotions and the pathos of complications in Eul and Joon-young in the past that for Present their account day stresses. It is not a complete picture yet, but during the last week glimpses into the past me more and vaguely dissatisfied want to feel left, now I feel that emotional hook.
EPISODE 3 RECAP
After Eul and Joon- youthful admit they know each other, it is slowly trudge along the snowy road. Joon-young she looks at the ground covered in exhaustion and runs to her, cradling her in his arms.
If Eul wakes up some time later, she is in a hospital bed with an IV in her arm, and standing by her bed is Joon-young manager hyung Gook-young. Eul wonders why she's here, but Gook-young is just as clueless, saying only that Joon-young called him and ordered him fired over or to run. She asks where Joon-young is ...
section at a swanky nightclub, where a massive array of long-stemmed red roses maneuvered his way to the birthday child, Joon -Young drama co-star Yuna (played by Lee Elia ). The roses are worn by Joon-Young capita Agent, President Namgoong and Yuna tells him Joon-young send them to deliver themselves.
President Namgoong she recalled that Joon-young not going to stun clubbing as Joon-young goes to his agent. Joon-young plucking a rose from the assembly, and it is enough Yuna, to wish her a happy birthday.
asks you to take a song, so Joon-young takes a seat at the piano and begins to sing. (Aha! It's "Winter Child" which Suzy as a birthday song sang in Dream High.)
But Joon-young spirit Eul all the time is fixed, having regard on front and recently encountered of years. And if he remembers Eul on the snowy street collapses, he suddenly slams his hands on the piano keys down, all surprising. Without a word, he goes out of the club.
Yuna follows him out, and he apologizes for the sudden departure, but if she says that she would go with him, he shakes his arm and asks pointedly if he will ever understand their thing wrong given Has. He reminds them that they only agency colleagues:
Yuna asks why he came to her party, then "No more, no less.". Joon-young answers: ". Because of a girl I thought that if I'm here, I would not think of her, but I thought wrong.."
At the hospital Eul gets up to leave, managers ignore Gook-young admonitions to stay longer. He is more concerned about Joon-Young-image as Eul health, checking that they are no longer online later complain or make a fuss.
Gook-young hands over an envelope of cash, which begins Eul then and there to count. She notes that it is wise ₩ 950,000, guessing that Gook-young a little skimmed off the top for himself. He stammers a denial, and she holds her hand expectantly for the rest.
Then she insists on a ride home, and Gook-young AH obliged, though not without the whole time complaining how shameless she is. What fazes Eul not a bit, because it is used to being thought of this way.
If he complains that she is drinking his soda, it points out that flat and go anyway be thrown. Gook-young insists he totally would drink it and requires them from a new or spit buy it. Eul spits it out. Hee!
Once they pull in Eul neighborhood, they spotted a van parked in front, and the two loan sharks their belongings in the store. She jumps in and passes it gave her, claiming the computer for her little brother Jik the envelope of cash Gook-young.
But tell the loan sharks her that they have their apartment deposit claiming too which means it is now and Jik are homeless. Not that they care about the, say cold, that they should not borrow the money itself they can not afford.
From afar Gook-young watches with concern, but if the loan sharks aggressively ask if he knows Eul, he says, he met just today and quickly apologises.
Joon-young mother on her building occurs on the stairs Joon-young to find session, but continued past him without a word. Joon-young grabs her coat to stop them to ask how a mother could just ignore their child to respond to the mom that her son died five years ago. As in their last encounter, her tone is deadpan and Joon-Young's gentle coaxing, makes me very curious about this five years before the incident.
Joon-young tries to coax him hanging in his mother, so Mom takes the quickest exit strategy: She calls Gook-young "these crazy jerk" to take away. That hurts.
Mom is not coldhearted as , however, and she looks in to Joon-Young-room with a long face. Mom blinks back tears to read the note he had written in a textbook, encouraged to pass the law exam.
Gook-young picks up Joon-young and chides him go for mom to see, because he knows they should not would welcome him. Joon-young answers simply: "I just thought, when I saw Mom, I would to anything else not to think." Since Mom saw his spirit with complicated thoughts fill guarantees.
Joon-young takes a sip from the idle half drunken coke bottle and Gook-young tells him too late that their bites Eul spit back out earlier. And while they talk Eul, Gook-young sighs at her hard life, the encounter told with loan sharks. He nudges Joon-Young that documentary to shoot and save a life at the same time.
Joon-young pointedly ignored the nagging, but Gook-young, bless his heart, always trying to say, as he saw it on the bridge towards. Joon-young eventually loses his temper and hits his manager out of the car.
He calls a friend for drinks, but do not shake Gook-young words on the bridge. So he changes his mind and moves along a bridge, then another, and another, his eyes peeled for signs of Eul. Finally he discovered a lonely woman pulling over the bridge railing overlooking and over, furiously shouting Eul ... until the woman turns, recognizes excites him, then begins to run, explains to himself a fan. LOL.
Joon-young mutters to himself as stupid as Gook-young-just to feel like he sees Eul at the railing. hardens his face, as he drives past her.
Eul her cellphone takes to call "My Number 1 treasure" who turns out to be her little brother Jik. It deletes the tears from her voice and checks that he has eaten to ignore him excruciating for their instructions to eat right. It switches to video for confirmation that he really eats meat and the face of her (former opposition) ajusshi friend, Ji-tae, it appears to assure that he is.
Jik reminds his noona that Hyung barely has money to buy him meat, and Ji-tae insists he can afford it. Ah, I see he's rich family background hiding, his father in the face of the famous prosecutor-turned-assemblyman.
But Jik seems to feel the shame that his sister had a long association leave a living on behalf of cockroaches, do not like it when she pushes Ji-tae to buy him a lot of food. Jik insists that he is not a beggar, and that they should maintain a minimum amount of pride and shame. "Are not you embarrassed yourself?" Jik she asks, and hangs up.
Ji-tae really does not seem to mind, but Jik says abashedly him that his sister wasn 't like this always. "She had pride," he recalls, "and was incredibly cool and impressive." He put his head hanging, now do not think so.
Ji-tae Jik ensures that his sister is still cool and pretty to boot, and Jik asks if he thinks that "as a woman." Ji-tae there, and that at least put a smile back on Jik face, he is perfectly fine with meat mooching a "brother-in-law." off
With a sigh, Eul returns to the bridge railing, climb on the foot upward fashion on the page looks. A hand jerks it back, and suddenly we flash back before the year, in a similar moment when Younger Eul younger Joon-young whirled had been.
It is 2011, and Eul flinches guiltily. A view of the declared near Poster, why, how Joon-young reads the graffiti she had scribbled on then-prosecutor Choi's face, call him a hypocrite and a despicable devil swore his true face under the mask to reveal dirty.
While he is busy looking at the poster, Eul away quietly sneaks trigger only and case. Joon-young has a hand that is ignored, then asks if she still eaten.
over noodles in a Pojangmacha, Joon-young muses that there are four years since she had last seen her, and explains how he went to law school and went recently testing. This is a surprise for Eul, and he wears his success in his studies to her not seduced him when he had been questioned to leave with nothing other to do it, than to study.
Eul let him do the talking, sit clearly uncomfortable here, and apologizes to go to the bathroom. She slips outside the tent, but before it is very much a shoe beats back there-is Joon-young, pointing out that the bathroom in the other direction.
her a criminal on the run Calling (for vandalism), he claims their ID card, they fish from her wallet while it tries ineffectually to grip again. She calls the police, cited only to give it legal code rattle that makes baseless calls itself a violation.
Eul snapped, "What do you want from me?" Joon-young answers, "I'm going to go your crimes, so let the date blank."
Annnnd minutes later she is already going to the police station, ha. But she is reluctant to actually give themselves, and reaffirms that Joon-young only meant for they like his girlfriend to act for a week to get rid of, get the girls chasing him.
In a cafe, a teary- eyed girl protests when her boyfriend cancels things, although he claims never really they were together. The girl is GO Nari ( Kim Min-young ), Eul best friend from high school who had not realized he had gone with her, just because he wanted them to borrow money. He scoffs that it is not an experience for boys, and she insists that she does, as Joon-young enters the café.
He sees how the scene plays and throws that Nari is to tell the truth, in the role of her ex, who left now she regrets (and her curvy new figure) go.
Joon-young is there to pump them for information about Eul, and hears that she did not go to college, that she takes any job that will make money, and that she has her hands full got her brother and raising living. Nari asks if he thinks Eul harass and make trouble, as he was in high school, and urges him she alone-Eul hard to leave enough life as it is.
Some time later, Joon-young takes place through a campaign rally for Prosecutor Choi. In his distraction, he and his bike collide with two passers-by and he goes down ah, they are the prosecutor's children, Ji-tae and his little sister Haru. Ji-tae is caring and friendly, while Haru starts to complain until she gets a full blast of Joon-young beauty and is blue-eyed and said she wants to marry him.
Ji-tae and Haru are connected, Yoon Jung-eun (also known as the hit-and-run driver); her father is the assemblyman stumping for the prosecution. Jung-eun asks when Ji-tae will propose, as their parents have already discussed engaged. It is a prospect that Ji-tae seems clearly uncomfortable, and his mind goes in flashback (us to a flashback in flashback take).
We are back on the night of hit-and-run when Jung-eun father, Assemblyman Yoon, prosecutor Choi calls to get through them out of the mess , Attorney Choi argues that the daughter of the victim, the car reminds significantly and that there were three witnesses, but Assemblyman Yoon makes a veiled threat, the prosecutor recalled that he would not be where it is without him. He is now calling in the favor.
Ji-tae overheard the whole thing at the door, shaking hands in shock. It called him later by the court fall Eul observed a protest a woman and insisted that prosecutor Choi reinvestigate the case properly. He sees his father pass by without giving it a second look, and Eul loses air, but only for a moment; they rely not.
so that's why now (he, in 2011), Eul is an active volunteer in the campaign of the opponents. When she. Outside a metro entrance volunteers Eul spots Jung-eun on the opposite side campaign for the opponent
She stares so intense that Jung-eun noticed, but it turns out, Eul is noted only a stray eyelash. Eul leans in Jung-eun not the campaign to say too vigorously because their candidate is a bad guy.
You will of Joon-young, and comes sprinted to his campus as he eats lunch with a girl who does not take no for called in response away. The girl has everything to change about yourself to him or her get to this day, and he warns that he has a girlfriend with a terrible personality. She refuses to believe it, and that's Eul cue to jump with a sickening display of aegyo, pinching Joon-young cheeks and cooing that she missed him like crazy.
They especially take pleasure in pinching extra hard, and he gets up again, by declaring missed her more and they engage in a painfully tight hug. He copes with her face in a display of faux sympathy, and when she yelps angry, it almost seems they call off the bluff is going on.
But instead warn the affectionate girl to leave her boyfriend alone.
Eul will afterwards humbled by their behavior, but Joon-young overgrown straight and shave plonks his head in her lap and has two fake-girlfriend appearances of their remaining balance (of eight), if they let him Nap. It demands three, and he agrees readily.
Eul can sleep him for the allotted 10 minutes, then tried to wake him. If he does not move, it gets a gleam in her eyes and reaches for a pen, drawing whiskers and a cat nose on his face.
If he gets up, it only takes one look at him and bursts out laughing at his confusion. Your laughter go on and on and on ... and then suddenly turn watery as they transform into tears.
It surprises him, and he voiceovers that makes him call Nari want them to say that he can not keep this promise: "I will keep playing jokes on Eul and tease and torment her. I have at least to do that because I have to keep them to see. I'm sorry. "
lawyer Choi holds a campaign staff dinner at, curious, Joon-young mother restaurant. This is the work of the housekeeper of the Prosecutor, the proposed in the place; she is twin sister restaurant Ajusshi and white, Mom, and seems to know secret the birth.

He turns the offer of a car and piggyback them out, and when they are away at a safe distance, he says Mom can raise his head, because the prosecutor is not there.
he shares that he had gone to see before the prosecutor, and told him he would find him if he had passed the law examination. He tells Mom that he would make it so that they can proudly boast: "I raised your son well without you." Mom starts crying, realizing he had known all the time.
his own tears winking back, Joon-young his mother told in their next life, that they should not run away, and that love does not distinguish between levels of education or social Layers. Mom sobs.
Eul shows best friend Nari some video footage secretly shot-of would have multiple instances of a drunken prosecutor Choi to leave a room salon on the arm of a bar woman. She had seen him there by accident while on the job as designated driver and returned for a stakeout. Nari warns that only after him they would hurt in the end, but Eul is determined in her dead father's name to continue working.
Eul a call from Joon-young ignored, and when it tries to back, the phone is off. He pulls Eul the ID, which he was keeping and listed the heads toward the street.
looking
Eul from heads determined and calls the number on lawyer Choi campaign flyer, which he answers himself. Eul introduces himself and reminded him of the hit-and-run five years ago. He says he does not remember, so they. Rattling of data in rapid succession-nights, he had visited Ms. Song in the Room Salon
He stiffened while his wife curious looks from the next seat. Eul calls him out on his devoted husband image and demands that he drop out of the race and said that the country has no hope, when evil men are like him assemblymen. She tells him to ask for forgiveness and his crime to recognize in the event that they'll stop now.
Around the corner, Joon-young listens in shock as Eul continued, the prosecution to say that it would burn evidence when he reveals the real culprit. Prosecutor Choi tells her to go ahead, just to say that the threat will not work on him. He shrugs it off with his wife, say it's probably a last-ditch effort by his opponents of the camp.
Joon-young looks Eul the flash drive with the video evidence stowed in her backpack, struck his face as she makes a call to the transmitting station.
Eul from heads to breathe deeply for courage. Joon-young noted off a deliveryman his scooter near ... and so Eul an arm holds to call a taxi that scooter comes by zooming, the driver arm snap the backpack as he goes.
Eul sprints madly after the thief, running in the street right in the way of a car that pops into her. Her body flies into the air and lands with a thud on the concrete.

Eul goes into cardiac arrest in the operating room, and he continues: ".. If you save only Eul, I will gladly give up the rest of my life Kill me, and Eul save"
So now (in the present), Joon-young pulls Eul from bridge railing and asks hot "Lives the ridiculous is dying so easy!" so he finally gives in: "Let's shoot the documentary We can shoot it, all right, crazy.?!"
COMMENTS
Okay, now we are getting somewhere! I was pleased with the recent premiere week but felt a little disappointed by the treatment of the second episode of the past, posed the questions, but do not provide much in the way of answers. Not that a drama has to answer to all his questions in a row, 2-that would be a mistake of a different kind, but it does not quite get me to pack on enough to feel like I fear there with my fear rely knew Heart.
Today, on the other side? Totally had that "Ah, yes, I'm in" moment. It was to get a relief for the moment when Joon-young steals the pocket (or even the scene when he noticed that she went down to take his father and his response gave me a sinking feeling in the pit of the stomach), because it is that critical point-of-no-return moment in the plot line in which someone is doing something that can not be solved easily with a mere apology or uncovering the truth. There are some things you do that are so momentous that even a proper grovel it will not solve, and I think that it is could be for Joon-young-especially since he was already on shaky ground with Eul, access to committed to their time on the flimsy grounds.
Of course, why he is not only a nice guy and she is like a decent friend another issue entirely Court could be. He had such an open chance her and his regular friend to win, it was a bit annoying but I suppose young people with cocky-charming strips and a tremendous amount of pride are not mature enough to be honest and to put out there. It's what makes him both aggravating and incredibly attractive.
So in a perverse way, I love that Joon-young rather royally effed on, which explains everything about the current character and makes his uphill even steeper, dangerous movements. I must admit that I love when drama Heroes bad fuck and then pay for their transgressions have down the line -I (often after the romantic feelings strengthened) loved in the fear Oh Hae-jung again and to the fullest enjoyed watching him writhe in his self-cage of destiny. It's just as satisfying. I do not know if that makes me mean or petty, or man. Probably all of the above.
The situation is similar in a few ways for Ji-tae, who like me much better after his fault seen playing load. I know there is a bit of a cliché for a drama rural character to feel excessively responsible for a malfunction of the parents, if he / she had nothing to do with the crime, but the sins of the father an effective trope for a reason and I think the guilt he feels. He makes both better reconcile things by Eul and take care of her family, and make things worse for his identity to hide, because you would be better believe that matters will complicate later.
So, now I'm invested, and actively looking forward to what comes next. I can see why this kind of show can feel disappointing for people who were expecting something else, but Uncontrollable Fond is not happy rom-com; it is a heartfelt sentimental melodrama, and if the built romantic anxiety is not your bag, it can be an exercise in patience (or frustration). Personally, I love this kind of slow accumulation, it is often the most hardcore or flashier Melos that I find harder to swallow, and now, finally, I see the point of the title and find it quite appropriate. At least the Korean literal title is (I continue to hate Uncontrollable Fond and other embarrassing translations), we would as initially translated easy Ardently . It describes Joon-young on a tee, and his way of feeling things deeply and with a strong desire, but with a light (literally: reckless or carelessly) closer look , Fond, yes, but uncontrollable in any way.
