For someone who is not basic empathy Young-oh certainly has a flair for drama does not understand. Speaking of Dr. Lee, as far as he is one of the most interesting characters to me. Certainly Young-oh is interesting, but only really in a clinical and anti-hero fashion. Perhaps because his son be described as less than human, Dr. Lee on the other side is so thoroughly human. He gave substantially Young-oh, the tools with which to defeat him. While Young-oh was ceaselessly learn how to map the human social paradigm, Dr. Lee learned very little about Young-oh. His focus was on how to suppress the trains that normality deprived of his son, but Young-oh was able to master the situation, which he regarded as human weakness and gain autonomy over his own life. I think that Dr. Lee has a great love for his son, but it is often eclipsed by his fear of Young-oh the callous intelligence and insufficient humanity.
