This episode begins a little further to delve into each character and what makes them tick, if every answer seems to lead to more questions. We finally find exactly what to Jang-mi you happened to be so scared to go it alone, and why Ki-tae determined to remain single. We also discover why Se-ah has appeared in Ki-tae life after three years, and the answer is as selfish and complacent, as you would expect. But these revelations are treated with a careful hand, and I have no doubt there is much more to discover to every story.
EPISODE 6: "I, the looks alone, not alone, but seems alone"
a pair, is in a dark bedroom in the shade, roll around on a rumpled bed. The man takes off his shirt and pants, and pull the blanket over him. Rawr .
Some nights before, leaving Se-ah of Wine Party of Women, and Yeo-Reum follows her into the street. He gives the envelope she gave him before, but she says they all already know that they want to know and tried to give it back to him.
Ki-tae and Jang-mi see the end of this exchange and Ki-tae jumps to the right statement about Se-ah while Jang-mi jumps to the wrong about Yeo-Reum. Jang-mi fixes deceived eyes on Yeo-Reum and says that they must be again been the only one with feelings, and escapes before he can explain. He tries to follow her but Ki-tae stops him to ask Se-ah, whether it is fun to play with people's emotions.
He follows Jang-mi and they end up drinking a pojongmacha Soju, though again it's Ki-tae do all the drinking. He rails against Jang-mi for with Hoon-dong not learn from their experience, and for not listening to him about Yeo-Reum while sitting in stony silence.
He is on a roll, and says that it is not that the guys are data poor, but that they mistreat it makes her. He goes on and on, listing everything that is wrong, not even the huge tears rolled notice Jang-mi face. He's so Ki-tae now - everything he says is true, and it is also good advice, but he tries to say not even in a way that is helpful to or Art is.

At the store, it is obvious that Hyun-hee not much sleep got last night, but Jang-mi is hyper and works as possessed woman. Hyun-hee asks if Ki-tae found out that she kissed Yeo-Reum but Jang-mi evades only the question and stated that they did with both of them.
Yeo-Reum shows and asks Jang-mi, to eat with him, but she is still angry and asks why should she. He twitters only with a cheerful grin, "You said you liked me!" She drags him out of the store, barely speak missing Ki-tae, who has tried to find them before his mother and Se-ah can.
Jang-mi demands to know if Yeo-Reum started lying, and he does not deny taking money to get close to her, but he promises that he gave . he says it back, it was just a joke, and that he was not with dislike to explain himself. seriously, stop talking. you make it worse.
His handsome smile is not him get out of one, and Jang-mi tells him she passed in peace and leave the message along to Se-ah. But Se-ah and Ki-tae mother heard the last part of the conversation, and mom wants to know what is going on.
Ki-tae she finds, and everybody is trying to explain of awkward in a round robin until Mom just tells them all to pst. Asks Se-ah explain, and Se-ah says honestly that they asked Yeo-Reum, to learn the true relationship between Ki-tae and Jang-mi. Then she surprised all say that they did it so they could find out the perfect wedding gift for them.
Ki-tae and Jang-mi go to lunch, where she asks him if it bothers him that his ex someone pays in his personal life to pry. He says that she has done it before, but he is sure that they do not use the information against them. Yeo-Reum sitting with them to eat, as if it's no big deal, and Fed-up Jang-mi reminds the server, it becomes totally don e with them both, and leaves them in the eye Daggers to shoot each other.
Hyun-hee finds Jang-mi to sit outside, and tells her she Hoon-dong is already visible. Jang-mi is stunned that she would be with him, knowing how he treats her. Hyun-hee says her if Jang-mi objects will not originate it, although it points out that it would not be fair if they did, they got two other men is to choose between.
Meanwhile, Hoon-dong wakes up and is shocked to realize that he slept with Hyun-hee, and sneaks into the restaurant at one of the girls there could be. Yeo-Reum can give him a little ribbing not help, and Hoon-dong retaliates childlike about a drink tip to clean for him. Hee.

Also Oooooohhh . So is the Se-ah's game. Ki-tae is up to a dark room with a cup and a naughty video, but he can not go with it.
He says Se-ah, that it has moved too far, made the joke, but she insists that she is serious. She says that she wants to stay single, but wants to spend their life with someone, and she loves it so much that she wants to be with someone like themselves. There are so many things wrong with this, I know not even know where to start.
Ki-tae says that a baby is not a toy, but Se-ah pushes discretion promising because it is her father's hospital (thank you!) - Will find no one. Dad says Jang-mi of marriage "bad relationship because their parents fear, and we see what happened when she was a child and left alone. Her parents had a fight and both parents went out, each of them Jang-mi told the other parent a beautiful life to have.
Five year old Jang-mi was left alone, every parent think the another was with her, and a glass had broken and entered the shards, even cut badly. They spent three days alone, bleeding and hungry and scared, not knowing if a parent would come back.
Dad feels terrible for his mistake, and has the time since trying to get along with Jang-mi mother for spent her daughter's sake. He blames himself for Jang-mi negative attitude to marriage, and asks again for Ki-tae, her to help.
Jang-mi Mom tells her that Dad and Ki-tae are together in the restaurant, and by the time it gets there, the men have at least 8 bottles of soju finishing off. They are both virtually incoherent but being drunk gorgeous deny. Jang-mi pushes only Ki-tae on the floor where he sits to giggle, and has a few drinks with Dad itself. HA.
Finally, it assumes Ki-tae home, where she has literally drag him kicking and flailing the taxi and him inside piggyback. The poor girl looks like she's a drunken octopus wrestling. You call him on the couch and tells him just this whole thing, and Se-ah marry dumps. He mumbles that he, because "it is like my mother." Not Jang-mi points out that he was going to marry her before, and he says yes, because "it is just like my mother."
Ki-tae tries to get up, but upset and Jang-mi steadies him and bring their faces close. For a long moment he looks at her, and then he leans in close ... and pushes them away. Hee. He staggers into the bedroom, but stumbles and falls, and Jang-mi manages to drag him and onto the bed.
Ki-tae beats and yells that he wants to be alone, and Stripping begins (Jang-mi her eyes primly covered, but not peering) but he gets only his pants half before falling out of bed. She manages to get him back to bed and ward off his flailing arms and legs undress him, and enveloped him in the ceiling. Now, this scene was not nearly as sexy as it appeared in the opening. POUT .
In the morning a fierce hangover Ki-tae takes its cuisine in a shambles. There is an indication of the coffee not only drink coffee to say it, but have some soup still bubbling on the stove. Awww. He complains about the mess, but tried the soup and rice, and he feels better, until he finds another note suggesting that they meet with their parents today and to tell the truth.
Ki-tae flashes three years ago when he Se-ah brought here in an empty house and told her that his happiest memories were when he was alone here, as a child. They had agreed that this would be their first home as a married couple.
At work, Hyun-hee staring at silent phone and Jang-mi tells her that Hoon-dong not call because they almost killed him with her to sleep. Hyun-hee voice trembles with rage and betrayal, as she says, she thought Jang-mi about Hoon-dong was so that they do not understand why they can not come even him.

Jang-mi waiting Ki-tae down and helps Yeo-Reum perform some garbage. She asks what he meant that his success always was her fault, and he says he'll talk to her, but not now ... he wants a romantic ambience. Unfortunately Aunt Mi-jung is lurking nearby in a car, and makes a call to someone to report that Jang-mi met with the waiter.
Ki-tae not find Jang-mi and calls her and she tells him that something was, but it will not be long. Ki-tae hear Yeo-Reum voice and is shocked that she even talking to him after he got paid to date. He screams that he thought that they on their single, and places wanted to be on.
Aunt Mi-Jung called Ki-tae and informed him (for a 0,000 bribe won, ha) that his mother her pays the relationship between Jang-mi and Yeo-Reum to find out. He tried to blow away, reasoning that they go clean come anyway but ends up her cell phone tracking and find them go.
Jang-mi and Yeo-Reum talk, and she tells him the whole story about the fake engagement. He is surprised that she has done everything for no good reason, and she says she is finished anyway. He is skeptical, knowing that they do not allow that things can be simple, but she swears that it's over with him and Ki-tae both.
She asks why it's their fault he got punched, and he tells her that he is the one who made the party the Kimchi cheese dish. It is to give their guilt for him the Kimchi. She is touched that he made the court because it is the one that meant eating the cheese gratin to the kimchi.
Yeo-Reum bursts their bubble a bit and tells her that he was really inspired by a girl he knew a long time ago that made wonderful kimchi pancakes. We proceed back to three years ago, a while later, and Se-ah says Ki-tae, she bought the place next door, it that could have more space. Ki-tae is angry because he had, how valuable was this house told him.
Se-ah clearly does not care what Ki-tae thinks and laughs for his attachment to the house to him. She brags that she can find out his secrets, and use them to get their way, then ushers in a group of workers and places them between the homes to break the wall.
It is the last straw, and Ki-tae orders the workers, Se-ah to say that they can go with them. Back in the present, he throws Se-ah, the same to him now that they did it back, and she says that it's his fault, both times to push them away.
This tense confrontation between Jang-mi and Yeo-Reum is witnessed, and is also from Aunt Mi-jung, who sat out of sight. Jang-mi spots her, and remembers that Ki-tae mother is forcing him to marry the woman of their choice when they that his relationship with Jang-mi can prove forgery, is. Looking back on the manipulation tactics of his mother and Se-ah, Jang-mi suddenly understands why Ki-tae as opposed marriage.
Ki-tae says Se-ah defeatedly that they just go tell his mother everything, he can no longer care. Just like Se-ah her phone Ki-tae pulling call mother, Jang-mi stops them. She says that they have been patient because Se-ah and Ki-tae are old friends, but she is tired. Before each, she explains, "Gong Ki-Tae is my husband."
She takes a step closer to him, and he secures a few steps away to ask what she does. You she murmurs softly: "I'm an idiot."
Then she throws her arms around Ki-tae neck and plants at him. Ki-tae is a moment frozen, then his eyes rolled back and he clasped Jang-mi close and deepened the kiss. Her eyes fly open, then close it again - and suddenly're kiss with heart and soul, look after none of them that everyone is watching.

All I could think of is this: three cheers for cable TV! So much kissing and skinship in this episode. I am a very happy little Recapper now.
But seriously, how refreshing it is to watch a drama that is not afraid to show adults adult relationships with and do adult things? We are not consequences drawing of relationship wasting plot points by pretending that adults her shoulder accidentally brushes or do in their 20s / 30s outraged by a hand so that things like kissing and sex only happen after a pair is, at least , involved. I can see only so much before I begin to have problems suspend my disbelief and to accept that the right answer smooch on an unexpected is stiff to stand wide open with eyes. Raise your hand if you have ever done that, while someone kissing. Yes, me neither.
said that, I find myself more and more invested in these characters as time goes by. I am thrilled to still have that, although they claim to be at first glance stock characters, almost every person in the show turns out to have some very understandable and sympathetic appear reasons for their actions (though sometimes seriously messed up). Nothing happens just because "that's what the character type does", and there is always a driving motivation behind their behavior.
I enjoy the way the show slowly at a time, the layers a little peels back to show us the reasons why someone is or react as they are. And I feel like we've only touched what is under the surface, and that the show has a lot more to give us, as we get to know them better. It is a lot like how it is to know someone in real life: First, get the basics as who they are, and the more time you spend with them, and the more open, the more you will understand why they are as they are. It feels very natural, and explains why these characters feel so real and accessible.
The more I see, the more impressed I am writing in this show. distributed information about the characters in the right quantities and at the right times, but never revealed, as we need to know at this moment. So many dramas give viewers all the background information about the characters at once, leaving us to watch us pull the hair in frustration they stumble around unaware of consequences, because we know that if they only talked about X or did Y, then everything would be fine. But in Marriage Not Dating , the audience will not know more than the characters at a particular time to do. We are on this journey to get their backgrounds and secrets to know them directly. So I never feel like, "Why / he that stupid thing to do s" Because I do not do more than the information character. Your actions make so much sense to me as they do to the characters themselves.
I can not say enough how much I love this drama too easy. I really have no complaints about any part of it. I am happy to be along for the ride, wherever it takes me.
