There are some interesting elements at play here, to be interspersed with the beacon, the sparkling moments of comedy gold in the entire episode. It is in these moments that shine through the talent of the writer for cordial and timely humor.
It is in the other, where to I'm a bit unsure how to proceed, because while I would be willing to grant that I m not the ideal audience for deliberately quirky shows like this, I am also think that you can sell anything if you try hard enough. And this show certainly tried, and succeeds even some of the time. It's just that when it comes to imaginary fish and faster than flash heroines you a lot more work than average to do a romantic comedy.
